So why exactly did you make this thread? To show an open expression of admitted propeganda?

What were your intentions for this thread? To warn people of a revolution?

I admire your adamant stand points, but you have to realize that what your backing is a lie.

Yes your Club is growing in post count, because of spam. To prove a point I will go through and pick out ten posts.

Secondly you say your Club with break the rule of "No Fake Types", now I have not read the complete specifics of this rule. But I am assuming that is out laws Fake Types in the Realistic Card Forum.

Well there is no mystery behind that ruling, Fake Types obviously are not realistic.

I can assume that the reason members with high post count have negative opinions towards your club is because of the fact that your club is being allowed to pass with it's continuous posting of spam.

No one is attacking you or your group, no one cares that your group might be stickied. No one cares that your group is boycotting that specific rule. All they care about is that you guys are getting away with a massive amount of spam. Now for those posts:

[spoiler=Posts from your Club]

10 out of 10,000 is 0.001 percent, even less than I said was the maximum.

Several of those post provided had a connection to other posts and where perfectly acceptable in the context of their related posts. I am sure if I go through any other thread I could pull out any number of things that could be passed as spam if taken out of the context of it's related post. As for the RP posts those have been taken care of by setting up a RP thread.

Now aside from that, the focus of the issue is not on the FTK. The FTK are just an example of my points.

Caine, if I follow, your view is that the FTK is considered bad for creating something new and not following conventions.

Think about things logically, and you'll find the solution, try to think really hard. I have full confidence in you to realize why you and the entire FTK is marginalized.

If you can't then there is no hope for you.

I have read through this twice now' date=' and still don't see what your point is. You... want to tell us that you're not spamming?

[/quote']

No, I am making a point, by using the FTK as an example, there are other examples I could go into, but I didn't because the FTK is something I can relate the issues more easily too, I could go out and use something from the news as an example, but I felt the FTK was fitting because this is the Yugioh Card Maker forms, not CNN or MSNBC.

So your saying that if someone posts:

"I like 2"

Someone else can post:

"I like 3"

So on and so forth and it is still not considered spam? I believe your logic is twisted somewhere around there.

If this thread is not about the FTK -which it obviously is, I mean you do not once stop talking about the FTK- then what is it about?

Let's talk about Bush. (seeing you completely ignored my previous post.)

Do you know why Bush was president? He has clearly demonstrated that he is better than you. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been president in the first place. He didn't do it once, he did it twice!

Of course, he messed up. But at least he is capable. Society is self-correcting, the old economist's saying is "if it doesn't work, it doesn't exist." These "classes" are in the system for a reason, they work, just like Bush was president, he demonstrated they worked. If it stops working, the we change, but there is a time and place for change.

On the other face of the coin, Bush's opinion will never have a serious impact on this world again.

The topic is about the irrational hatred of members on this site...

Let me try to explain it this way.

I have an idea for something, maybe an instant Banana peeler (Don't take that seriously) so I take it out and show it to a few people, one person likes it and backs me on it, another doesn't really care either way, the third thinks the idea is ridiculous, from that he tries to come up with a way to make other people hate it, through whatever means, Let's say he starts saying it doesn't make the Banana taste as good. Now it have been a few months and I go to apply for a patent, and that guy who hates it is there, he starts going off on how everything about it is flawed. When I try to stick up for my creation and provide a valid point, they shot it down saying something about how I am a thug or something. This distracts the person who is looking at the creation, which could cause them to miss something that could revolutionize the way you eat a Banana.

I know that isn't how a patent goes, or if my comparison even makes sense to what I am talking about, but regardless I am sick of the hatred towards new ideas.

Sorry Arc, I didn't mean to ignore you, I am just busy trying to deal with everyone at once.

I will say you do have a good point.

My issue is with the irrational hatred towards new ideas, and that is what I am targeting with my first soapbox post.

So, in essence: In the case of the Fake Type Knights, if you're posting in Realistic Cards (I can't really say that I know where you usually post.) you're posting unrealistic cards there, and you complain about how people dislike you for breaking the rules. Cards that aren't realistic don't go in the Realistic Cards section, obviously.

Not quite Barragan, the issue with the fake types isn't in the realistic section, it is more so with the AOC or Pop Culture section. I understand the need for everything to be part of the accepted norm in the Realistic section, but when people are taking points off for cards that shouldn't be bound by the realism that exists in the Realistic section there in lies the problem.

See, now this is spam. There is nothing in this thread connecting this to anything. thus, this guy is simply trying to get to two stars by posting completely random comments that don't fit into anything. (its on page two, read through everything up to that point and you won't see anything connecting this to anything else).

Now, don't remember who said it, but:

If your in a club, just a club, with no real official topic, like ours (its "whatever you can think of. ok, I have a hard time staying on one topic for very long, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. thats why I don't join clubs that allow only one topic.) and someone decides to create a new topic, like "How many bowls of cereal do you eat in the morning?" He's trying to get more members of the club to post, so it stays alive. Lets say no ones posted there all day. Its like a bump to get people to join/post. then someone says "I like 2" and someone else says "I like 3." Is it spam? no, its answering a question, thus causing people to post, and possibly join. If you take "i like three" and don't look at the surrounding posts, it could easily look like spam, but it isn't then someone else starts asking questions about why they eat three bowls of cereal, and bingo! the club has life again, and people are posting and doing what clubs are meant to do: bring people with similar interests together, so they can socialize. Thats what the FTK main thread is for: for its members to socialize. (and with a topic like "Whatever you can think of" very few things can be considered spam)

You should take it easy, Caine Ghest.

What YCM is, is a site full of unique ideas and opinions. And such opinions may not be similar to others.

If Fake Type Knights become popular, that means a lot of people are interested and gave support for its concept.

If not, then perhaps more people disliked it or were uninterested.

If you want The Fake Type Knights to succeed in becoming what you want it to be, you should do your work in making it more appealing to people and share your insights about it. Do not rant about the negative opinions of others. You cannot expect everyone to like it. Either way, just wait. The result of what Fake Type Knights will be is still undetermined. So don't sweat it.

I will point out some problems in your post. I see that you identify the thread as a place of creativity. Now, in many other's minds, it also does. But, to me, I feel the FTK symbolizes a place of free ideas. We may not be creative, but we are expressing ideas on the card we post. We also are showing our ideas on the card, noting that it's a "Ghost" type of monster or a "Ship" type of Machine. We are therefore cutting the original types into Subtypes of our own ideas and emotions that are expressed more intensly than just putting, "Fiend".

I think, really, FTK is viewed in different ways by different people, which is why this argument exists. My point of view is completely different from yours, and I'm glad it's like that.

Alright get ready for the Hate storm that is about to come from this page like a bat out of Hell.

I sign on today to find that the Knights have been locked. I am calling out Alfred-Kun and anyone else behind this bullshit. The locking of the Knights shows me that we are a threat to the ones who are promoting the Class Warfare. I say to Hell with all of you Hate mongers, to Hell with all of you nay sayers, to Hell with every single one of you. I am sick of the corrupt moderators who abuse their powers. The YCM needs a changing of the guards. Please don't misunderstand me, I am in no way suggesting myself, I am merely the voice of reason, in an unreasonable realm of hate mongers.

Now I don't give a damn about anyone who says that the Knights deserved to be locked, that will be treated as spam and you will be added to my list of acceptable targets.

And it would seem that I have become the Monster that will stand against other Monsters.

So...people don't like your ideas so you just play the xenophobic card as your defense?

That's verrrrrrrrrrry original.

And the veterans don't hate it because it's elitist, they hate it because they have experience and understand this place better, and thus know that the idea won't work. You have yet to effectively prove your fake types are useful, and your only response to the criticism is to whine about your creativity being stifled. Creativity is only valued if it's useful. Making any random garbage and calling it innovation is a mockery of the human brain.
