Members should be reconized by it. =/It's like your saying People recogize you for your card making, which in fact it's the many bans and warning given out by you is what most people see. Explain to me how this one contest impacted YCM, and I'll accept it. Card Contests like it or not, each new one has affected YCM in more ways than General ever could. Seeing as it's a breakroom. And Draco's bans, didnt affect more than what? 10users? None of them part of the mainstream audience of this site... That Card Contest affected way more people. It also affected what people were seen what way in the CardMaking Collective for some time afterward. The only difference with Draco than any other troll and user, was that he wouldn't let well enough alone. And when he was unbanned, and as well as during. He gave us all a reason to keep him banned. But then again... He wasn't important to this site... Ever. That contest was, as it also brought members from Custom Cards into General in a way they could appreciate. Which is a hell of a lot more than this thread ever will do, or likely others submitted.

Guest JoshIcy
His point is' date=' the contest caused a massive migration of card makers to general, people who now make up the main general population[/quote'] Wrong... Most of those users are still part of the CCCollective, not the General Section People...They just learned and stayed here for a period. They rarely post, but their posts are way more valuable than yours or darks... Or in most instances, my own.

Huntar!
Josh, as a friend, shut up while you're behind. xD CC people came to General. Then they left when you guys came along. So its your fault. And the only reason I became a mildly famous member in the first place was because of Card Contests. The YCM Contest Zone and the Duel Arena were the contests of their day. ;)

Dark
I'm obviously too lazy. I'm working on a project, maintaining this thread and playing my Wii all at once.
