[Sweet Lightning]

Here's a card I made. I think it's a little underpowered, but I'd like to hear your feedback! :) All Image Credit Goes to Wanderley I hope you like it.

 

 

Effect: During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. Once per turn, you can discard up to 2 Spell Cards from your hand to your Graveyard. This card gains 300 ATK for each card discarded by this effect, until the End Phase. Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Dark Spell Counter on this card. (max. 2) During your Main Phase, you can remove 2 Dark Spell Counters from this card to return 1 Spell and Trap Card on the field to their respective owner's hands.

OCG a bit off, pic better then average 6.5/10, effect doesn't make sence why the peircing damage?

It's not "Piercing Damage" people call it that but the real way to state it is "During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.". But after that, there's not much OCG problems. However, it is OP not UP. It's like a Giant Trunade (Which is limited in the YGO game) except with a cost. And believe me, that cost is extremely easy to reach.

It's a tad OP.

 

Reduce the attack increase to just 3 or 400. 600 will leave it with 3500 ATK even for 1 turn, and this card easily be achieved by just discarding 2 Spell cards? Thats vastly OP for a level 7 when it can also inflict piercing. And with that last effect (which I think should be changed a tad to something else since Spell Counters are way to easy to get for an effect like that) It pretty much has a big chance of replenishing your Spell Card in hand ratio which then fuels its 3rd effect.

Aye. I thought I should use "Piercing Damage" because I thought that was the new OCG. XD Oops.

 

I didn't know "Giant Trunade" was Limited. Hmm. Perhaps if I made it so that returns only ONE Spell or Trap back to the hand?

 

@Lovely Lady: Advice taken. I'll change the ATK boost to 300. And think of a new type of Counter for this card.

I searched up the other "Cyberdark" monsters and none of them had "piercing". Even if they did, the vast majority of monsters do not put "piercing" in their effects.

Oh well maybe thats just in the hand writen description ^^ lol i was looking at yugioh wiki but their none for shortening the effects.

I mean i doubt if Kanami were to view these cards they would not object to the Pierce Damage statement being in the card

I'll just leave the piercing effect how it is. It seems to be the more common OCG.
