Master Hyperion
I had read the fan translation of this Manga. So far, I really liked it and actually has potential to be an enjoyable serie. And of course, I couldn't resist making Yu-Gi-Oh cards out of it. BlackSkullCortez
Small OCG errors. It would be nice if you actually pointed them out. They're probably just things that I would personally say a different way, and either way, I would expect for you to search for the errors and fix them yourself. It makes them independent faster, and if you can't become independent fast enough, you'll continuously make errors whenever you make cards. Exa Raiun
That's surprising to see cards based on this manga - I remember reading a chapter from it, and it seemed interesting (and I like cute giant girls ^^; ). But now for the cards: Mana Eimiya: I have the feeling that it would need a "This monster cannot be Special Summoned." effect, or else it can be fast summoned with cards like Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen (as she is Fairy-Type). Add some easy remove from play fodders, and voila! A nigh unstoppable monster. And increasing ATK and DEF to 4000 (Did you mean original ATK and DEF?) seems a bit too much for the mentioned reasons. Maybe make it "Increase the ATK and DEF of this monster by 1000 (to 3500, which is still respectable). And can I ask why did you make her DARK? 6.5/10, with balancing out, it can be 8.5/10. Makoto Tobita: A reusable remove from play fodder, and a decent warrior on it's own. It also has lock possibilies with monster which limit the attack targets of the opponent. 8/10 Kuumi Tobita: For this effect, using Getsu Fuhma is much simpler. The original ATK is horribly low, the Special Summon bonus is not that great. Give some extra effect and more ATK, and I'll judge after that. Tscuhida: Quite a simple effect, but pulling out the trump card faster is always a good thing. 8/10 Terror from Outerspace - Minion: A rather unusal Field Spell support, but I like its uniqueness, even though most Decks with Field Spells have their own way to get the Field Spell faster. 7.5/10 Terror from Outerspace - Mutated Reptile: That's weird. Wasteland supports Dinosaur-, Rock- and Zombie-Type monsters, but this guy is (obviously) a Reptile-Type. So to use this card, you have to use an at least two-Type deck, one of which involving a suboptimal card. The effect is quite nice, so it somewhat balances it out. 7/10 Terror from Outerspace - Mutated Shell Crab: A massive stalling creature which can also attack in defense position. And as "A Legendary Ocean" also counts as "Umi", it can be useful in a WATER deck. 8.5/10 Doomsday: This card + Terraforming = rapid Terror from Outerspace summoning. I can clearly see a deck involving this combo. (I wonder what other Terror from Outerspace monsters will be...) 8.5/10 Koyou Spider: A vanilla beatstick, nothing more to say about. I wonder if Koyou monsters will get their own support, too. So far, the concept is quite good, with some cards being a bit over the top and others being too impractical or weak, but these are not that critical errors. And if I told you why I made her DARK, I would spoil too much of the storyline (and also too lazy to write it down), since you haven't read the entire Manga yet. ;( Kuumi Tobita: For this effect' date=' using Getsu Fuhma is much simpler. Koyou Spider: A vanilla beatstick' date=' nothing more to say about.[/quote'] Extra Pyramid Turtle target, although I still prefer Ryu Kokki over Koyou Spider. Exa Raiun
I understand what you mean, but in the case you draw said monster, you lose this possiblity. I suggest to make her a Level 4 monster , and change the first effect to "When this monster is Special Summoned from your Deck, the original ATK of this card becomes 2100." That way, you won't get screwed in the case you draw her. (1500 ATK for a Level 4 monster is average, if you manage to Spec. Summon her, you would get an above average Level 4 monster with my way. Your way gives a way below average Level 6 monster, which becomes decent if Special Summoned by that effect.) I believe you see what I want to reach with my suggestion. Down the Hatch: If you have Mana on the field, good; if not, a dead draw. Gimmicky choice, but can be useful at selected cases. 6.5/
