Dark
Don't feel offended, but I feel like an idiot posting my TECHNOLOGY problems here. But know this: if you can't offer any help, GTFO of this thread. I don't need your spam here. Before you post a solution, I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE MY INTERNET EXPLORER VERSION, MY INTERNET HOST OR MY VIRUS SOFTWARE. GIVE ME A SOLUTION THAT INVOLVES JAVA AND ACTIVEX. Problem: Dust on NotDoppler won't load. The error says "Java has failed to run this application." What I have: Internet Explorer 7*, Java 6 (Update 17) *The only reason I have IE7 instead of IE8 is because McAfee is being a complete retard and is not compatible with IE8. That's about it. If you need more information, just ask. I'll probably offer 1 or 2 reps as a reward. GOGOGO. EDIT: It's just not Dust that fails to work, it seems as though most Java applications won't work. Serebii.net chatrooms won't work either.

JG.
It seems that the instant I find that game, everyone has troubles with it xD And I take it you're clever enough to have installed the latest Java version, so I won't say that. But check anyways. If not, is there a way to find Java Settings? If so, try there.

This is the error I get for Dust, and it's similar for the Serebii chatrooms. Control Panel >> Java >> Advanced >> Default Java for Browsers I've been looking at a lot of self-help tech sites, and they told me I needed to have "Microsoft Internet Explorer" ticked. It was, but I wanted to try something. I was planning on unticking it, restarting IE, making sure Java failed, ticking it, restarting IE, and see what happened. After I unticked it, and I went to Dust, it started working. Serebii chatrooms also started working. It was quite weird, but I'm leaving it unticked until I can find another solution. Someone can lock this now.
