I wanted to make a deck using Dark Lucius. Note that this is a casual deck and not a competitive one. I planned on using Goldd and Sillva as beatsticks, taking the focus off of Dark Lucius long enough to get enough for him to Lv Up through battle. If I creature swap Rigorous Leaver, I can destroy it with Dark Lucius in order for him to Level Up without relying on my opponents monsters. I wanted to get some feedback on whether this was a good idea or not.

I'd rather just go with plain DW...

I don't see anything about LV8 that's worth trying to get him out for. Dark Worlds swarm fast enough, and with Fiend Roar Deity Raven they can synchro easily enough.
