Ragnus
The Guardian serves as for both a powerful offense and strong defense. It has 1900 ATK, and it can be sacrificed to negate and destroy the effect of another monster. I admit the price to keeping it in play is a little bit risking, because I have to show 1 Rock Monster in my hand to the opponent, or else it'll get destroyed, but since half the monsters in the deck are Rock Monsters, that really isn't much of a problem. Ragnus
The Soldiers are in there mainly for defense purposes. They can also be used for sacrificing with Dark Calling, and for keeping Koa'Ki in play. They can also be used for the Synchro Summon of Red Dragon Archfiend.
