Gold Ultra Rare version

I know the effect is unusual, the last time there was an effect like this, it was the Wing Dragon of Ra. Although a similar concept its used differently to de-power your opponent's monster and not your own, and it does this in an untypical way.

You can pay 1000 Life Points to turn a Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon from a Level 12 - 4500 ATK monster into a Level 1 - 0045 ATK monster. Which would allow you to destroy one of the strongest monsters in the game with one of the weakest monsters at your disposal.

This isn't quite like a 1 monster removal card. This still gives your opponent a fighting chance to save their monster, if they have some means to survive an attack of their weaken monster, then its ATK or DEF will revert back to normal after the turn is over.

interesting effect' date=' but 1000 LP is too small of a price for it. Now the only monsters with a chance to survive at all are the ones with XX50s in their name, and even then it's not very good. This is OPed as hell

Maybe half your Life Points is a more balanced cost then.

not if your LP are already very low. For such an effect you'd have to pay at least 5000 LP to activate it.

But that the best time to play those type of cards when you wait for your life points to get low, its a hail mary card if you play it at the right time.

- Worse Case you lose 4000 LPs to use it right away.

- Best Case you lose 25 LPs to use it at the very end.

A set 5000 LP cost is a bit much since this will only help you remove 1 monster for 1 turn only. Granted it will enable you to cause massive piercing damage, but your paying half amount whatever that amount may be at that point of time in the duel.

I'm going to change the cost to "Pay half your Life Points to activate this card."

5000 is too much, this is a Spell Card, not an Effect Monster like Cyber Stein.

And Cyber Stien did have a more powerful effect. It allowed 4500 worth of ATK to incure through BEUD, as well as its own 700 ATK equaling 5200 worth of damage and 2 monsters on your side of the field.

This card doesnt come close to causing that kind of damage or lasting monster advantage.

Cyber Stein is a guaranteed result.

This card is a situational result.

I don't see how it is possible to word that effect with OCG. I only know what your talking about from the pic. 8/10

Yeah, I tried to word it OCG as much as possible. That is the very reason why I added the numeric aspect to the image to make it easier to understand.

Updated - The card has been rebalanced.

I took ragnorak1945's point of it being too low of a cost, and raised it, because I agree the initial cost was too low for such a powerful effect. I just used Toon World as a blue print cost, but that wasn't enough. But I'm not going to max out the cost to the highest known pay amount of 5000. I stated why earlier. I think half your Life Points is fair, because that can range from as high as 4000+LPs to as low as 25 LPs. It just depends. This is a situational card. This card essentially amounts to what Offering of the Doomed, or Tribute of the Doomed accomplishes (but with piercing damage as well) but those cards only require you to discard 1 card, this card requires your Life Points so its balanced enough.

Also I changed the card to an Ultra Rare Gold. I think its effect deserves the special treatment.

I thought the same too' date=' IMO, all ATK and DEF should be divisible by 100.

Yeah, but the Wing Dragon of Ra, introduced this type of effect of being able to win by 1 life point only. this card can cause the same scenario of a 1 life point victory.

Oh! That episode! I remember that one.
