sunagakure
I would drop the idea of time travel all together. it's a theory, and facts are most likely the best thing to do in any science project, unless theories are specified. Do something a tad more creative, like music affecting flowers, or something else with plants.

Sora
Just make a Volcano lol. Its so cliche xD. But really, I don't gots no ideas for Time Traveling. Maybe you can dress up as Thomas Edison with the label of "1980s" or something on a phone booth. Enter the Phone Booth, while in there, strip off your clothes and throw on some new ones of Ionno, some recent contributor to the foundations of science. Then run out, relabel it "2000s" and you're good to go.
Lazer Yoshi
The good ol' Pepper and A-Jax.Get a bowl of water. Now pour a ton of pepper in it.Then squeeze some A-Jax Dish Soap into the bowl. Watch all the pepper split into two sides and basically stick to the edge of the bowl.I forgot why it does that, but it's an awesome experiment. Lemniscate
Mine is about the comparative efficiencies of water turbine models. You could do something like that.Just build 3 wave power energy converters from scratch, build a wave generator, and test the three models with relation to the energy created by the wave generator and the energy converted by the wave power energy converters. Not that hard. I love SCIENCE.
Tentacruel
If I were you I'd go with a banking soda volcano. Or a time machine. I'm pretty sure I have an extra flux capacitor around here somewhere.....
