Psychic Infiltrator

When this card declares an attack, you can Tribute a Psychic-Type monster you control. For each monster Tributed by this effect inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points except by it's own effect, your opponent must randomly send 1 card from their hand to the Graveyard.

So yeah...it's my last entry I hope for Arc's Battle Royal contest and I figured I'd go with a Psychic monster. Main idea is too use Psychic monsters to inflict a bit of damage, and to do some hand damage if it deals damage through battle and not through it's own effect. Given that it's a 7 star with 2400/1000 rounds it off quite nicely.

^^ great image! It seems to be quite balanced however I think I see places for OCG improvement. (They may not be correct but im 98% sure they are.)

"When this card declares an attack, you can Tribute 1any number of Psychic-Type monster you control. For each monster Tributed by this effect inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points except by it's own effect, your opponent must randomly send 1 card from their hand to the Graveyard"

1) This implies you can tribute more than 1 which makes your second sentence grammatically correct. Since you had it saying "a Psychic-Type monster" that ment you can only tribute 1 there for you would only inflict 400 damage points making that sentence grammatically incorrect.

Also should it have an effect dealing with your life points which is a requirement for this monster card type?

I like this card but it is missing the Psychic-Type's signature effect theme.

7/10

I know but your effect sounds like your saying when it attacks you can only tribute 1 monster but then the second implies that when you tribute 1 or MORE you inflict 400 for each. It makes more sense to have both imply that when it attacks you can tribute more then 1. And Does it involve replenishing the users LP? Thats what I ment. Most if not all involve the controllers LP whether in a negative fashion or positive.

Are you using old OCG intentionally? If you aren't this is how it should be written this days:

OCG fix: When this card attacks, you can Tribute an amount of Psychic-Type monsters you control. Inflict 400 points of damage to your opponent for each Psychic-Type monster you Tributed. When this card inflicts damage to your opponent except by its own effect, discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand.

Other than that, fairly balanced, good pic, and an ok effect.

Gailson has no idea what he's talking about... I can't see any OCG errors. It doesn't fit the Psychic-Type theme though. In the Psychic-Types, the monsters make you pay life points to do something, and the spells increase your life points so you don't commit suicide. This is quite a bit different from the other Psychics. Try changing the effect a little bit more...

8.3/10 (for lack of it being like all the other Psychics.)

The errors I was talking about were corrected. An FYI, Pschic-Type monster are not limited to paying life points, their effects simply effect life points. Like Psychic Emperor or other cards. So there are some exceptions to the theme.

Psychics are a Type, not an Archetype, so I think they shouldn't even have a theme, despite the fact that, with Konami, that's where they're headed.

Anyways, I'm not familiar with Psychics, but I don't like the Tribute effect (Only 400?). We already have Spirit Reaper for the other effect, but this has more ATK.

Actually, a lot of psychics boost up your LP.

Murr.

It certainly involves LP, but since Psychic is a TYPE, not an ARCHETYPE, it should not have a theme.

Boosting, reducing, it's still a theme.
