Here's my opinion.

 

Remembrance Day and the like are part of a long line of sickening traditions. Why should we only remember the sacrifices of our country's soldiers and not the opponent's? What makes our country's soldiers so much better than the EVIL EVIL EVIL AXIS SOLDIERS? Everyone's just taking orders from materialistic sorcerers of destruction and hatred. "The allies" were behind Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

 

Remembrance Day and the like are a crime against hopes of global peace. Same with Independence Days' date=' national anthems, borders, and any form of patriotism to one's own country.

 

What happened to "one world united"? What happened to worldwide co-operation? Why are we to remember the acts of fools taking orders they don't know the motives behind to either kill or be killed?

 

Remembrance Day and the like are fuels for prejudice and hatred.

If the US hadn't bombed Japan, there would have been many more deaths during the invasion :(

 

But also because the US didn't want the USSR to invade and make it communist. :(
