[Max Darkness] The Battle for the Galaxy

Max Darkness

Recommended Posts

[spoiler=Backstory]

Man was finally united. Drawn together by a common goal. A desire to conquer what he had not. Space. Humanity marched to the stars and claimed anything it came across. However, it did not realise there were others in the darkness, waiting for the time to strike.

The first to reveal themselves were the Androma, a proud and able people from the Andromeda Galaxy, brought here by a inter-galactic wormhole. They claimed this galaxy as they had claimed their own space. Despite stronger ships and more powerful technology; their numbers and supplies were limited and their invasion turned into a stalemate.

The next were the Plasmans. Beings of a seperate dimension to us, where matter and energy fulfill the other's role, they seemed to have a physical form in what became known as 'Plasmic Space', but appeared in this cosmos as animate strikes of lightning. Able to traverse the quantum fluctuations surrounding the dimensions, they could move swiftly through space. However, they could only exist for short periods in this space. Again, humanity was drawn into a long, drawn-out war.

It was several years until the next threat showed itself. An alien race called the Nihloids. They emerged as if from nowhere, engaged human warships and after a few brief firefights, withdrew. Ever curious, human leaders sent starships to pursue. They followed the Nihloid to their home, Inverted Space. Not a natural phenomenon, but one created by them, Inverted Space caused massive power and matter fluctuations in the human ships, leading to their destruction. Seeminly content with the small destruction they had levied on man, the Nihloids never struck again.

During this time, an ancient power was stirring. Awoken by humanity's actions, this great behemoth cast judgement on man and decreed that it would be destroyed to restore peace in the galaxy. The race sent three ships; ships that couldn't be stopped by any weapon humans could come up with. They called themselves the Valeans, and claimed that it was their duty to remove humanity's threat to galactic stability.

These three leviathans reached Earth, but as they approched, a temporal rift opened in Earth's orbit and a second group of three ships emerged, this time calling themselves 'Terran'. They said they were from 300 years in the future, fighting a human civil war. The Valeans saw the new ships as no threat and continued to advance. However, the advanced weaponry of the Terran ships tore through the Valean's arcane technology.

The resulting three explosions reopened the rift and drew the future ships back to their correct time. By this point, peace had be drawn up between man and the Plasmans; and the Andromas were seeing this galaxy as a drain on resources and withdraw to the Andromeda.

But these things didn't matter. Man was still at war. With himself. Just as the ships had foretold, the Terran Civil War had begun. Man's fall from grace was swift and destructive. The fall of humanity consumed Earth and all of mankind. Never again would humanity traverse the stars.

alright i read the first 2 cards and i was like im not reading this Bs

Then don't comment.

first card pic sucks and effect is too plain doesnt support you arc type in any way' date=' plus the effect is like dupe frog

[/quote']

It's a starship. This is a starship archetype. And the effect is plain since the "Starship"s rely on low-leveled simple monsters fusing into more powerful ones. And if you think about it, "Decoyroid" doesn't support the "Roid" archetype, but people still use it.

second really OP needs some major drawbacks (lifepoints are worthless in a way) plus monster can be NS without any restrictions (easy lv 8 synchro) early stardust rapes the field plus it stacks your graveyard

That's why it's ATK and DEF are low for a Lv.3.
