archie17
Secret Rare versionTreat this card as "Limited" (1 per deck allowed in both formats). When this card is activated, select 1 monster from your Deck and add it to your hand. Show the monster you selected to your opponent. As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, you can Special Summon the monster you selected during either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase. When the monster you selected is Summoned to the field, treat this card as an Equip Spell Card and equip it to the monster you selected. The equipped monster cannot attack on the turn it was Summoned, cannot return to the player’s hand and ownership cannot be switched. If the equipped monster is used to Tribute Summon, Fusion Summon, Ritual Summon or Synchro Summon a new monster on your side of the field, re-equip this card to the new monster that was Summoned. If this card is destroyed while equipped to a monster or the equipped monster is destroyed, you lose the duel. To use or not to use? That is the question. I can explain the complexities of this card, but I'll let you figure it out.

TheVaron
Uhmmmmmmmmmmm....Your OCG isnt too good. You didnt make it on YCM (or atleast it looks odd).I will give you one major OCG fix. You need to say if the card ignores summoning conditions, because if a card says "this cannot be special summoned except by" then you cant use it (if thats what you want" A not if you do ignore summoning conditions you are asking for abuse of the card. Basically you will special a JD and nuke them so hard they start glowing green. Over all the OCG is a bit confusion. The card isnt YCM (to my knowledge) and well its just a little too ANIMAE-ish its like making that speed field spell from 5 Ds. you get a 7/10 its meh
archie17
too riskycards that ruin this card:MSTHeavy StormFissureDust TornadoLightning VortexThere's too much.......etc5/10 The benefit of this card is it allows for an easy summon of a powerful monster as well as giving the summoned monster a couple of added immunities. The risk of this card is if either of the 2 components are destroyed, you immediately lose the duel. Its up to you wheather the risk is worth it or not. I wouldn't use this card at the start of the game or mid game but I would use it near the end game if things are looking bad for me in the duel. (add something about that if you want the deck master to be your main defense
Mr_SuperDude__
Nice. Useful, cause it can summon during your opponent's battle phase.i.e. "Red eyes B. dragon attacks your Mystical Elf!" "Oh no he doesn't! I special Dark Magician!" "MOTHER F***ING PIECE OF S***!!!!!!" ACTUAL CONVERSATION WITH ME AND MY FRIEND WHO USES A RED-EYES DECK. I WHIPPED OUT A MAGICAL DIMENSION AND PUT WHAMMY FAMMY ALL UP IN HIS BACKSIDE THE NEXT TURN!!! TheVaron
@Super dude it doesnt matter if you special DARK MAGICIAN Your opponent gets a replay and either doesnt attack or attacks elf so...yeah that happened @TC. Then you need to say that on the card...

TheVaron
right right sorry. I had a brain implosion (brain fart x1000) and Im curious is this a YCM card? Because YCM rescales font to fit
archie17
I use a combination of YCM and PS to make the card and justify the font. If I typed out the lore from this card into YCM, it would disappear and would only be dots/unreadable. The way I did it, its still readable and the text is aligned just like real yugioh cards. Spirit of DMG
obviously made on a picture editing program, just like Dark Synchros, Anti Synchros, the Vampire sub-type, and many other custom sub-types. anyway, the important things:this could be used to easily summon a very powerful monster. but, it carries a HUGE risk.overall: 8.9/
~Wright~
Meh, it goes against the show, but maybe you should add this. When this card or the equipped card would be destroyed, place 1 counter on this card. When there are 2 counters on this card, destroy it. This effect could make it balanced out, idk.
archie17
Meh' date=' it goes against the show, but maybe you should add this.[i']When this card or the equipped card would be destroyed, place 1 counter on this card. When there are 2 counters on this card, destroy it.[/i] This effect could make it balanced out, idk. Playing a deck master has always been a risky concept. Actually I made it more risky, because now its not only the monster, but the spell card that can cause an instant loss. This effect differs in that respect from the anime. Plus the "Deck Master" gains 2 immunity effects of not being tooken control of or being sent back to your hand. This has been added to prevent an easy victory by your opponent. I do like the counter system for the spell card. I might add that. But its balanced in the sense of your own personal timing of when to use this card. Picking the time when to play this card is how you make this card balanced. Also this card allows you to Special Summon - Any Normal Monsters regardless of what Level they may be. (This allows you to bypass Tributes) - Any Effect Monsters regardless of what Level they may be. (This allows you to bypass Tributes) EXCEPT cards that state Cannot be Special Summoned/except by... archie17
there's too many cards to wreck the strategy' date=' like Heavy Storm, MST, Fissure, Dust Tornado, etc 5/10[/quote'] You don't seem to understand, the usefulness of this card's effect. Use it to extract 1 monster to your hand. Just because you added it to your hand doesn't mean you have to play it. (Atleast not while this card is on the field.) Use Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy this card so that you can Summon the monster you selected later on with out vulnerabilities. SCENARIOYou have 1 Blue Eyes White Dragon on the field and 1 Blue Eyes White Dragon and 1 Polyermization in your hand-------------------------------------Activate "Choose Your Deck Master"Select 1 "Blue Eyes White Dragon"Activate "Mystical Space Typhoon"Destroy "Choose Your Deck Master"Activate "Polyermization"Fusion Summon "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon" Your no longer at risk of losing the duel instantly and you accelerated the process of getting a Fusion Monster onto the field. This is just 1 of the many other ways to use this card's useful effects.
Canadian
I dont like people who just rate and dont say ANYTHING... And I'm glad somebody finally did a deckmaster card that actually makes sense, I'd like it to be a trap equip card so you can activate it on your oponents turn, there is room for improvement but I love the idea and the pic. 9.5/
herbie
the idea is obviously not originalbut i think you made this card almost perfectlysummoning your deck master is always a risk but that's the point of itobviously you'd only ever use this if you knew that if you did use it you were gonna win if giant trunade is activated you've just summoned a powerful monster with no tributes and you can use it again and select another monster from your deck, and if evacuation devise is used you can just summon the monster again right?9.5/
