Take the lights off your window.

I see Christmas decorations on a few houses, and christmas music on the radio. Well, here's a News Flash that might come as a shocker to those people.

IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS SEASON YET (Not for me anyway).

We still have Thanksgiving, and the feeling just isn't right. Normally, it's the weekend after Thanksgiving. There just isn't any Christmans Spirit yet.

Discuss how people repetitively put up these decorations early, or perhaps any holiday decorations that are put on too early, or stay too late.

I hate that. When I'm in Wally-Mart, they got all this Christmas stuff everwhere. And I'm thinking: 'Does no one give a damn about Thanksgiving? Cause, your not being very thankful for it. Get the goddamn giant turkey out, and be happy.' So, take down your stupid lights, eat a damn tofu turkey or something, and smile. >: (

I almost cared until you called my lights stupid and suggested we eat a tofu turkey.

I understand that people can do what they want, but it just doesn't seem right. It seems almost awkward. It feels like hanging up Halloween Decorations on Valentine's day.

It feels wrong. At least for me.

And, Thanksgiving shouldn't be minor. You may not be able to make songs, decorations, or catchy furniture commercials out of it, but it shows gratitude for all that you do have, to forget what you don't have and remember what you do.

Also, the blunt title was used to attract people here.

Pfft. As far as I'm concerned the holidays start sometime in November.

Thanksgiving is so minor compared to Christmas. Nobody even decorates for it.

WHAT ARE U SUPPOSED TO DO? HANG A TURKEY? :D

Well most turkeys would be hanging themselves right about now.

Congratulations, you described Christmas. But due to the fact that I completely and utterly agree with you, I'm going to say this: Thanksgiving has been around longer than Christmas. If you thought Thanksgiving started with the pilgrims then you were utterly wrong.

Also I haven't even been thinking much about either. My birthday is a bit after Thanksgiving so I'm more focused on that.

My birthday is on the day after Christmas, so I'm more focused on my birthday than Thanksgiving and Christmas.
