Infinitus
I see Christmas decorations on a few houses, and christmas music on the radio. Well, here's a News Flash that might come as a shocker to those people. IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS SEASON YET (Not for me anyway). We still have Thanksgiving, and the feeling just isn't right. Normally, it's the weekend after Thanksgiving. There just isn't any Christmans Spirit yet. Discuss how people repetitively put up these decorations early, or perhaps any holiday decorations that are put on too early, or stay too late. I found my NES in the process.Back on topic, Thanksgiving doesn't get any massive amounts of decs so why not put them up when it's nice and semi-warm out? Amethyst Phoenix
Pfft. As far as I'm concerned the holidays start sometime in November. Thanksgiving is so minor compared to Christmas. Nobody even decorates for it.

bobo144
I hate that. When I'm in Wally-Mart, they got all this Christmas stuff everwhere. And I'm thinking: 'Does no one give a damn about Thanksgiving? Cause, your not being very thankful for it. Get the goddamn giant turkey out, and be happy.' So, take down your stupid lights, eat a damn tofu turkey or something, and smile. >: (

Infinitus
I understand that people can do what they want, but it just doesn't seem right. It seems almost awkward. It feels like hanging up Halloween Decorations on Valentine's day. It feels wrong. At least for me. And, Thanksgiving shouldn't be minor. You may not be able to make songs, decorations, or catchy furniture commercials out of it, but it shows gratitude for all that you do have, to forget what you don't have and remember what you do. Also, the blunt title was used to attract people here.
Lazer Yoshi
I saw some Christmas Commericals in September. :lol:People are gonna be like that; it's America! XDPlus, Christmas is the main idea for businesses to earn a lot of money.
.Frostpaw
I saw plastic Easter eggs hanging from a tree in my neighborhood a few weeks ago. They're either too early, or just didn't take them down after Easter was over. My family doesn't decorate too early, but they wait until about the middle of January to take them down. Also, the blunt title was used to attract people here. Congratulations, you described Christmas. But due to the fact that I completely and utterly agree with you, I'm going to say this: Thanksgiving has been around longer than Christmas. If you thought Thanksgiving started with the pilgrims then you were utterly wrong. Also I haven't even been thinking much about either. My birthday is a bit after Thanksgiving so I'm more focused on that.
