Shadow Zero Posted November 20, 2009 Report Share Posted November 20, 2009 both cards are having trouble in ocg land. the second card is quote op'd. a tribute for 2 cards? not to mention the additional destruct effect and the fact that the draw effect puts you at a disadvantage. 1 monster destruct upon summoning would have made it less op'd and discarding a number of cards from your hand to the grave to draw an equal number of cards would have made it more useful, and it would actually help then. however, that would probably then need to be changed for during the draw phase, as doing that to get extra cards after your draw phase would make it somewhat op'd.card 1 has a good effect and is more balanced, although there is ocg trouble there. discarding a card to special summon a monster is a good effect and would make it highly useful in a D.D. deck.my vote goes to card one.
