Any damage this monster takes is reduced to 0. When this card attacks your oppenent directly, inflict Battle Damage to your Life Points equal to half of this card's ATK.

 

Once per turn, you can equip this card to a face-up "The Turbo Torpedo" monster you control, OR unequip it and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When equipped to a monster by this card's effect, that equipped monster does not inflict Battle Damage to your Life Points as a result of its own effect. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, draw 1 card. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

Turbo Torpedo is more trouble than he's worth but the union effect helps a BIT. He also sounds, and looks like a tuner.

had it not been for the first sentence drawback, Turbo Torpedo would have looked on the OPed end

 

Both cards seem to have adequate OCG, so this gets 8.6/10

In the second card's effect, the first card can't destroy a monster by battle, as it can only attack directly. Otherwise they look good. Nice pics and pretty good OCG. You should make some spell/trap support though.
