burnpsy
What's Gravirose do again? And Supervis. During each of your End Phases' date=' destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the Graveyard or reveal 1 Plant-Type monster in your hand. burnpsy
Take out supervise. Gigaplant and Black Garden don't mix. ...wouldn't Supervise here make even more sense, then? GenzoTheHarpist
To be honest, i'd drop the gigaplants as well as supervis. Run something with a good splashable anti-meta effect like Rai-Ohs or kycoo. The great thing about black garden is you're free to run more than just plants. However, King Tiger Wanghu is pretty epic here, and Grand Mole wouldn't be half-bad either.
GenzoTheHarpist
Wanghu is ruled not to work with black garden iirc. Grand Mole is cool. Maybe give fragrance storm a try? I've had mixed results with it, but it's worth testing.

GenzoTheHarpist
Wanghu won't recognize the monster until after black garden has resolved, meaning that the monster is no longer in the "just summoned" timing and Wanghu cannot destroy him. This is because Garden is Trigger rather than Continuous.

This is because Garden is Trigger rather than Continuous.[/quote'] If a monster's ATK when it is Summoned is less than 1400 due to the effect of other cards' date=' such as a Field Spell Card that reduces its ATK, it is destroyed by "King Tiger Wanghu"'s effect (so apply all existing modifiers before determining if the monster is destroyed). If "Command Knight" is Summoned, it increases its own ATK to 1600 before "King Tiger Wanghu" can destroy it.[/quote'] I'd have to disagree. GenzoTheHarpist
But "when it is summoned", the monster's ATK is not less than 1400. It's less AFTER it's been summoned, and black garden resolves (unlike most field spells which are continuous).
◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
In case you didn't read, it's a ruling, meaning it was made by official Yugioh Rules. So, Wanghu does apply. Besides that, maybe drop....-2 Super Solar Nutrient+2 Supervise <.<
GenzoTheHarpist
In case you didn't read, my argument is that that ruling is referring to a different class of situations than he's applying it to. Also, Supervise now that he's taken all the geminis out is pro. Maybe it's you who needs to learn to read.
Tempest Dahlia
Needs book of moon.TRK dosen't work so great, compared to nettles. -1 for a nettlesNeeds botanical lion. The Dark One
Wanghu doens't work with Black Garden. Somebody tried it at a Shonen Jump a while back and the judges ruled against him. Fragrance Sorm isn't worth it. ANd you need Rai Oh.
burnpsy
Incidentally guys, is it better to focus around Gigaplant or Black Garden? Which makes the better deck? Needs book of moon.TRK dosen't work so great' date=' compared to nettles. -1 for a nettlesNeeds botanical lion. And seed cannon is awesome tech. One more: Lightning vortex.[/quote'] Book of Moon will only help the opponent dodge Garden, or be a -1 to me to dodge Garden. I don't see why I'd use it. TRK VS Nettle is Insta-Synchro VS a Tuner that needs what could be material for a Synchro as protection for itself. >__> Not to mention, TRK actually makes Rose happen without using three monsters. The only thing Nettles has over it is getting Queen of Thorns. ...I just see Botanical Lion as a ATK booster with no other purpose. Why him? Sure, he'll get some ATK, but... It only reaches Monarch-level ATK with 3 other Plants out. As for Seed Cannon, it's a slow burn card, I don't see why one would seriously use it. I can understand how it's slightly faster with Garden, but still, burn cards being randomly tossed in? ...and isn't LV just filler for decks? Fragrance Sorm isn't worth it. ANd you need Rai Oh. Fragrance Storm's a +1 or 2' date=' by getting rid of an enemy token. I don't see why not... Also: Rai-Oh is too expensive. Please read the thread before posting. >__>
Tempest Dahlia
So... You DON'T want to dodge garden. If that's what you like...Lion MUST be in the deck, as it tramples over your opponent! The other 1 about cannon l understand.LV is great here, because activating it helps both ways- Diumping plants, destroying monsters... Going down to 1200 instead of 600... As my friend was complaining about the lack of Gigaplant, I may as well test what BoM + Gigaplant + maybe Supervise ends up with. Thoughts? As for Lion, I'm 95% sure that the boost gets halved too, like with Morphtronic Radion. LV can work, but over what?
GenzoTheHarpist
Lion's boost gets halved. But given his high DEF, you can just set him and flip next turn, plus even a halved plus will be greater than anything they can put on the field. So, that makes me need to find room for: 3x Book of Moon1-2x Botanical Lion1x Lightning Vortex?x Gigaplant (at my friend's request, but Book of Moon can make it workable...)?x Supervise (would make sense, due to the above) ...and now I'm stumped on what to drop... GenzoTheHarpist
Book of moon is unnecessary. Most things you'd use it on, you could have just set in the first place.
