Afraid to tell you' date=' but you skipped a step of the sun's life cycle. Sorry, but I'm one of the two third best youth astronomers in Michigan, so I have to correct you. ^_^

The sun, an average star, [i']will[/i] expand to a normal red giant and engulf up to us, or push our orbit out further. Either way, we're toasted. Then, once we're all dead, the sun's outer layer's will escape into space, and it's core will only be left, thus, it will be a white dwarf, and about the size of Earth.

Now, if the sun was a massive star, well, we'd be dead already anyway. It would expand into a supergiant, and eventually explode as a supernova, and either collapse, creating a black hole, or leave only a neutron star, where only neutrons can exist in it's dense atmosphere.

And what with the Dwarf Galaxy hitting the sun away? The sun's not even solid, and would die before that happened. : P

Sorry again. I'm a stars dork.

Whoa! Hold up! People still live in Michigan! Astounding!

Oh.. my.. God..

I won my school spelling bee today. Moving on to county...

Have you ever seen such marvelous spam? *waits to be engulfed by sun*

Ooo' date=' ya, I'm one of the top 100 geographers on the face of the [s']earth[/s] state of Tennessee, so I don't care.
