Jazin Kay
So noob. Your new GB card is taken from an existing card image, for an existing card. I can't facepalm hard enough.
ragnarok1945
half the cards here are existing cards, not sure if this is a good idea......
Jazin Kay
Oh, I get it. He thinks he can make these better than Konami can. Oh wow. I gotta keep this thread open in another tab. If this keeps up, I'm gonna rofl. OP, you're a newbie, so I'll play nice and give you a tip: Find the Pojo thread about custom playmats, find the Photobucket URL that has card images uploaded straight from the PSP Tag Force games (these are the official card files used by Konami, used in the actual game for it's gameplay animations and such), and use those. They're MUCH better than simple cropped card scans. Especially better than the Retiari, which is common with secret sparkles, apparently. Besides, they're much clearer. I play the TCG and I have a very strong Gladiator Beast Deck, I came first in regionals, and couldnt go further due to other commitments. I know all there is to know about the theme, and in this thread I have tried to make some of the other glads beast cards which never see competitive play, playable. Yes you are correct, the new cards I have created do use existing card art, but those cards never see play and do look cool, so they might as well be put to better use. I think that in this case, using existing art would look better than finding some dumb picture on the internet which looks nothing like glads (which are quite hard to find matches for btw).I think Konami did a poor job in some areas of the glad cards such as defensive tactics, every decent player plays waboku over it every time, because the card didnt have "gladiator beast" in its name.Calm down, ass. Jazin Kay
I. Rofled. YGO isn't the game for you if you're gonna just turn around and make yourself look like a 7 year old spewing HURR THIS CARD SUX IT SHUD BE LIKE DIS on the internet, let alone fail at it. If there's anything I know about Konami, a BUSINESS, it's that not EVERY SINGLE CARD in an archetype is created with the honest thought that it's gonna find a place in your local top 8. In a matter of speaking, not all cards are created equal. That's mean! Why would Konami do that? Oh, right. Because Konami is a business. And when you open a pack and pull a shitty GB card, you're compelled to buy another pack, hoping to get that good one. You think you can make these better than Konami already did. That aspect ALONE was enough to have me HOWLING, sir.

Because if some of the Gladiator cards suck, that was how Konami intended them to be. So improving upon something that the original creator already set is kind of meaningless. The OP should of took his revised OCGs/Effects and incorporated them into new Gladiator Beasts, then the idea would of been better.
