For water lovers: Sea Serpent Support!

As some of you know already in a previous thread here, 2 new sea serpents are coming in Absolute Powerforce (next year)! Codalos is kick-ass and underwater temple is not that bad. If you don't know the effects of these two, read below, too lazy too look for the pictures, but you can look up "Absolute Powerforce" on google yourself for the card images on yugioh wikia.

Codalos

4 Stars (WATER)

Atk) 1400 Def) 1200

Sea Serpent/Effect:

Send 1 face-up "Umi" you control and send 2 cards your opponent controls to the graveyard.

Forgotten Underwater Temple

Trap Card (Normal)

While this card is on the field, this card's name is treated as "Umi". Once per turn, you can select and remove from play 1 face-up Level 4 or lower Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monster. During your End Phase, Special Summon a monster removed from play by this effect back on the field.

Anyway, I got motivated to create new sea serpents, to support the two new cards and sea serpents as a whole. I tried to make them balanced, so none of these should be over-powered, and also most of them will have synergy with real existing cards like Deep Sea Diva and of course, Codalos and legendary ocean decks. Help with errors/spelling would be greatly appreciated if you can find any. Enjoy!

Sea Serpent/General Water Support

Mermaid of Atlantis

4 Stars (WATER)

Atk) 1700 Def) 300

Sea Serpent/Effect:

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 "A Legendary Ocean" or

"Forgotten Underwater Temple" from your graveyard to your hand.

Rainbow Serpent

3 Stars (WATER)

Atk) 1300 Def) 700

Sea Serpent/Effect

This card gains 100 ATK for every WATER monster in your graveyard. Once per turn, you can increase

the level of 1 other face-up Sea Serpent-Type monster you control by 2 levels until the End Phase.

Savior Dolphin

2 Stars (WATER)

Atk) 800 Def) 1200

Aqua/Tuner

When this card is Normal Summoned and you control no cards (excluding this card), you can Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower WATER monster from your deck. It's effect is negated and it is destroyed at the End Phase.

Fierce Serpent of the Ice Barrier

4 Stars (WATER)

Atk 1800) Def) 500

Sea Serpent/Effect

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard,

you can add 1 WATER monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand.

Tidal Wave

Spell Card (Normal)

Select 1 WATER monster in your Deck with an ATK of 1500 or less and send it to the graveyard. Draw 1 Card.

Wrath of the Ocean Dwellers

Spell Card (Quick-Play)

Add 1 WATER monster in your graveyard with an ATK of 1500 or less to your

hand and remove from play 2 cards in your opponent's Graveyard.

Rising of the Ocean Dragon Lord

Trap Card (Normal)

Tribute 1 level 3 or lower WATER monster to Special Summon

1 "Levia Dragon - Daedalus" from your deck or graveyard.

I'll explain the cards. Mermaid of Atlantis is a great card to fetch an umi from your graveyard, and to balance it, I made it 1700 ATK so It cannot be salvaged. Rainbow Serpent is a unique card, It can be Special Summoned with deep sea diva, and its second effect helps with summoning a level 5 or 7 Synchro, depending if a legendary ocean is active or not. Savior Dolphin is a great opening card and can work as an emergency card when you're getting swarmed.

Fierce Serpent of Ice Barrier is like a "watered" down Shura, but it has a wider variety of targets and i named it as Ice Barrier because it thought it needed a card like that. Tidal Wave allows you to thin out your deck, dumps a water monster, and lets your draw another card. Wrath of the Ocean Dwellers is kind of like a Salvage and DD Crow combined. Finally, Rising of the Ocean Dragon Lord is here to bring out Daedalus easier and have him blow up everything.

Comments and advice are welcomed, but just not too harsh cuz I spent a lot of time on it :O (I blame it on codalos).

I love Rainbow Serpent and Mermaid They would both be perfect in my deck. But' date=' I think that Wrath should be a quick-play and that you should be able to sacrifice any level 3 or lower WATER monster for Rising.

I agree, wrath seems better as a quick play, and i think i was too focused on the sea serpent aspect when i was making rising, i should change it to WATER. Thanks for the change and comment :). I'm hoping water gets to become good after Codalos comes out, i might try out my old water deck, Legendary Oppression. (legendary ocean + oppression).
