This philosophy holds true in many places, in one form or another.

It's sad though, that in most places this doesn't apply. Since crime rate is so high people are afraid to do so.

This only is valid in America as far as I know, though it probably occurs around the world:

Even if crime levels weren't high we in America still wouldn't accept this. Well maybe some, but a majority wouldn't. The people of America like very much to avoid contact with other people. We want to stay in our family/group of friends and care almost nothing for anyone outside of it. Sad, yes, but true.

I accept this philosophy myself; well not with one of my neighbors. I swear' date=' they're part of a Mafia. >_>;

I have Christian neighbors who live in a pigsty. (I can't stand a mess)

And I have Asian neighbors (Taiwan). They don't talk much, but once in a while we share a meal.

You do know that every area in America is not like L.A, Miami, or New York City?

(I get the odd feeling that by asking this question you think I'm stupid. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

You do know that it doesn't matter, it still applies pretty much all over the American nation, don't you?

Only the small towns in the center of the nation, or wherever they appear, would the people ever be so open with each other. What I said holds true of any town of decent size and up. And I never said I liked it but that's how it is.

The center is pretty huge and I have come across many of them in the past. (You know, those states like where Dorothy lives?)

People be good and people get good back.

They were built up on that foundation.

+1 for redneks

-1 for decent sized towns.

I only know the LaVeyan Satanist version of this.

3.When in another’s lair, show them respect or else do not go there.

4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat them cruelly and without mercy.

11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If they do not stop, destroy them.

Just with less cruelty lol. Makes sense though, and does base itself in respect & kindness.

Mostly this.

But I'll add a rule saying if someone annoys you in their lair, you be an asshole to them.

I live by this.

In the old days, even in the early 20'th century, if you needed shelter, you could stay at a stranger's house no problem. Today sucks with it's "Stalkers, pedophiles and rapists", well I'm not saying they don't exist more than they did then, it's that more people are overly concious of this, and this is a mixed blessing. My friend calls my a "A perverted stalker rapist" because I hugged him suprisingly, WTF?

I refuse to except this.

Because you live in a Metro area' date=' where people are so desperate your own grandma would knife you for money. Right?

I fail to see what's so hard to [b']a[/b]ccept.

The shot at correcting me after being corrected was stupid.

Also in New York, we tend to not let people into our homes because many of them could be:

Junkies

Thugs

Rioters

Alcoholics

Gangsters

Murderers

Sex offenders

So with that in mind, think about where I live and my situation.

Also my grandmother lives in California and why would a lawyer steal money from a 15 year old?

Also, I wasn't taking a shot at you. I had to use the same word, so I emphasized it seeing as you spelled it wrong. And, your grandma being a lawyer has no effect on how those people will treat you. Seeing as if they want it, they'll take it.
