Sora
Please help, I wanna learn how to do all of those cool tricks you guys make on your siggies, with the lines and stuff lol. I made this cause I saw the vector of Naruto, I loved it lol. I added random Sparks to make it look less plain. Anyways, this is just the face Naruto gives when Iruka doesn't get him seconds at the Ichiraku Ramen Bar.
Catman25
Try not to use text until you're really good. Overall a bit plain, brushing alone doesn't suffice as effects. You'll get there though. ^_^
Sora
Thanks, and okay. But I was wondering, do I need brushes to make those effects Pro GFXERS do on their sigs?
Catman25
You might have to ask someone else about, but you can incorporate brushing into your sigs. It's just going to be used with other effects and stuff if you use it. But no, it's not mandatory or anything.
CeDeFiA
Not bad for a first. I admire your courage to post it and get criticized by all the cruel GFXers/Pro GFXers.
Rehva
Its Not That Bad Really. Try using more Effects then just Shiny circles.
Sora
Ok, thanks guys! I've also heard of something called a C4D? Whats that?
General Assclown
Ok' date=' thanks guys! I've also heard of something called a C4D? Whats that?[/quote'] Cinema 4 Dimension. I don't really get it myself but ... meh. It's like a 3D Background pretty much. Anyway, the tag isn't that bad. A little plain, that's all. Your render (the Naruto pic) is chopped off too. And the text is terrible. On the bright side, the sparks are cool =D
Snitch
RAEEEEEG'PRO'GFXERTAIEM----- The text is awful and blends with the even worse background which is a single colour brush whored with the sparks brush, which, contrary to many newbish opinions, should not be flung over your tag in every direction possible or even twelve out of ten times used at all. You should try developing on something called 'flow'. Flow is where you make your sig 'flow' to one direction or corner, so it all seems a lot clearer and has a set path. This is where you utilise 'C4Ds', to bring out the focal (render) and make it clearer to the eye and also attracts your eye towards it. If you don't know where to find C4Ds, http://stinky666.deviantart.com and the Planet Renders C4D Gallery both host and create a lot. Try setting them on your sig and changing the set mode to something like 'Screen' or 'Lighten', even 'Linear Dodge'. All can add nice effects to the tag. Just a note, a tag needs more than four layers, if you even used layers at all. I highly reccomend learning from some tutorials found on http://www.deviantart.com. Just search in the bar 'Gimp Sig Tut' and click on some of the popular results, you might learn a thing or two. Just in case you didn't know, as it may come up in some tuts, a stock is an image. Hope I helped somewhat.
