Problems

For me, living my upper-middle class life has been great and always was, and I am a extreme optimist. My life does not suck.

I hear many kids going on about how much their life sucks, how they can't fit in, buy something, social issues, etc.

Infact, today at school we had a guest speaker talk about the problems of adolesence and fitting in.

Now, none of this effects me. People say the phase in life that I am going through is a tough one. HELL NO! It's great! Better than ever, because I can comprehend more serious matter and have more sophisticated intrests without fully growing up.

Now people say that during puberty you are "Trying to find who you are" or something. NO! I am just like I was 2 years ago, some minor differences.

No typical teenage problems affect me.

Now, this is not a thread where I say "your life suck mine is gr8t haha" or to say "Millions of children die everyday in Africa get over it".

I personly think those "problems" are hyped. But that just lucky-me, I want your opinion.

Your parents are crack dealers and they got caught transferring drugs across the border. They were sent to prison because while in court they were found guilty for mass murder of an entire South American village. You are now an orphan in an orphanage.

How do you feel?

Point: Bad things can happen to anyone, at anytime.

Believe it or not: every normal human being goes through at least one change during his/her teenage years.

:/

I'm not saying saying we don't' date=' I just is not a problem for me while It is for others.

Change =/= problem. Which is what this thread is about.

[/quote']

I feel the same way.

1.) Because I didn't give three flying fucks about relationships when I was 12-16.

2.) Money wasn't an issue because I don't spend anything at all except for food.

3.) Needs vs. Wants. Needs win.

+1 for feeling me.

Bad problems are hyped by the media for ratings. They spend half the show getting the story on a horrible tragedy, so they go to their website and find out more, and continue to watch their broadcast.

Then the last 30 seconds is about everything positive.

Also, I believe that you are not effected because you understand things far more than any other teenager. Understand things that they don't see. It's a gift to not go through the "horrible adolescance(sp?)" everyone talks about.

My life is awesome, and I love life. I see past these illusions of a sucky life, of a horrible life, of fitting in, etc. I think past that, and think about more important things.

I have been blessed with a good, happy life, as it seems you have been too.

But still, just remember that, even though your life may be great, don't lose touch with the realities of others. There is evil and pain in the world, and it easy to forget that when your life has been a sunny picnic.

"Into every life, some rain must fall."

I can't see out of one eye, but I get over it. Bad things do happen to people, but the most important thing is how you deal with it. Some people deal with it better than others, and that is a fact of life.

The guest speaker is just trying to help the people who have lower capacity for bad things, and increase such capacity and have a better outlook on life.
