Michael.Pwntor
Hey, I've been fiddling aroung with Prime material dragon deck.Any useful comments/suggestions are appreciated. The main motivation for the deck was to combine Prime Mat. Dragon with Immortal of the Thunder... who doesn't love an extra 8000 LP? =P Here's what I have so far: Monsters 17 (I probably need more lv. 1-4, but which ones?) Immortal of The Thunder x3 Prime Material Dragon x3Guardian Angel Joan x3Kaiser Sea Horse x3SanganGravekeepers Spy x3Marshmallon Bear in mind that many of the spells/traps are there to minimize the risk w/ Immortal of the Thunder. Spell 15My body as a shield x2Raregold Armor x2Swords of revealing lightMausoleum of the emperor x3 <Nightmare Steelcage x2 < maybe? Mage Power x2Gold SarcophagusShare the pain x2 Trap 15Mirror ForceCall of the hauntedDark Bribe x3 Interdimensional Matter Transporter x2Dimensional Prison x2Ultimate offering x2 Wobaku x2Threatening Roar x2

Guest Delinquent Girl NiAtSoFi
From yugioh wikia: "Prime Material Dragon: If "The Immortal of Thunder" is sent to the Graveyard, its owner will lose 5000 Life Points because this is not damage. "Prime Material Dragon" cannot change it into a Life Point gain." -The Immortal of Thunder's rulings section.
Michael.Pwntor
read immortal of thunders effect again' date=' preferably right before '5000 lifepoints'[/quote'] I'm well aware of the phrasing of the card, thank you. I thought a familiar to this forum would be a bit more useful, apparently I was mistaken. From yugioh wikia: "Prime Material Dragon: If "The Immortal of Thunder" is sent to the Graveyard' date=' its owner will lose 5000 Life Points because this is not damage. "Prime Material Dragon" cannot change it into a Life Point gain." -The Immortal of Thunder's rulings section.[/quote'] I was dreading the real reason because I was certain I would get frustrated... How is a 5000 LP reduction not damage? Anyways, thanks for the reply.
-Griffin
It's only damage if the card says "damage" on it. It lowers your life points, it never says it is damage.
