A card with double personalities!

Frozen Judgment

[spoiler=Lore]When this card battles, both players must flip a coin. If both of the results are tails, switch the ATK and DEF of this card. If one of the results is tails, this card loses 1000 ATK and gains 1000 DEF until the End Phase. During Main Phase 2, activate 1 of the following effects depending on whether this card's ATK or DEF is higher:

ATK-Destroy 1 card you control. Switch this card's Attribute to DARK.

DEF-Destroy 1 card your opponent controls. Switch this card's Attribute to LIGHT.

Equal-Destroy 1 card your opponent controls, then your opponent must destroy 1 card you control. This card's Attribute is treated as both DARK and LIGHT.

the problem with all 3 effects is that none of them have any drawbacks to them and therefore this is OPed

Yes the first effect of switching the atk to 0 if the coin doesn't land your way' date=' but that's not enough, you need more drawbacks on this card

7/10

Ummm they don't need drawbacks because half the effects are -1s. It's all really by chance. Please explain why it's OP. These are my arguments for all the effects:

1st effect: This isn't OP because it would be an undesirable effect.

2nd effect: Also undesirable because it makes this card lose 1000 ATK while gaining 1000 DEF. And as everyone knows, ATK is valued much higher than DEF.

3rd effect: Half of this is a gain, half is a lost. So I think it's balanced.

oh I know it's by chance.

But it's basically like a coin flipping concept. Let's say for both heads and tails you gain something in the result. If there's no drawback' date=' then by chance it doesn't matter. All it means is you may gain less than what you wanted

[/quote']

Ummm you don't gain anything... If both you and your opponent flips heads, then nothing happens. If one of the coin flips is tails then this card's stats would become like this: 1000 ATK 1000 DEF. That would be an undesirable effect. If 2 of the coin flips is tails then the stats would become like this: 0 ATK 2000 DEF. Which is also an undesirable effect. So basically it's like this:

2 heads=2000 ATK 0 DEF, in other words, nothing happens

1 head 1 tail=1000 ATK 1000 DEF, in other words, this card loses 1000 ATK and gains 1000 DEF

2 tails=0 ATK 2000 DEF, an undesirable effect by far. As now the card can only defend, which in today's meta, doesn't mean much.

The third effect is basically 50-50 sooo I don't see how it's OP.

Yes, because if you flip tails and lower the monster's original ATK, that's a huge plus.

Read the card again.

Oh, and the card ain't bad at all. Awesome picture, decent OCG, balanced, and ya don't see many coin based cards now.

8/10

I believe it should be' date=' "the ATK and DEF of this card are switched".

[/quote']

Hmmm I think it can work either way because I've seen cards that list it both ways.

I could always be wrong. ;) I want to see more from you. You have the potential.

Don't listen to Rangarok's crap, your card is more balanced then a fat chick sitting down. He apparently doesn't play the card game IRL, but I can tell you do, so your opinion > his.

The art is awesome. I'm actually unable to identify the artist. That alone impresses me.

Not OP'd, since it doesn't devalue the game with how good it is, but it's DAMN good. I'd play this.

8.8/10

Picture(s) - 8/10 - Seen it a quite a few times

Effect(s) - 8.5/10 - Somewhat close to OP'd but not exactly, needs more drawback. Also, not sute but I think there's some OCG Errors.

Originality - 9/10 - Yeah, it's original.

Overall - 25.5/30 = 85% = 8.5/10

Also, Ragnarok wasn't talking crap, it's just that some people don't like to hear the truth about their cards -_-

Thanks but, what drawbacks does it need? All of the effects are basically 50-50. What OCG errors am I making? Also, ragnarok simply misread the card. I think he thought the coin flipping part said gain not lose. About the pic, I really haven't seen it at all...

im unfamiliar with OCG, so i cant rate it on that

I see a well balanced card, though i can see where their may be a slight draw back a bit on the card. I could be wrong.

Art is grade A, i like that picture.

i would say a 9.5/10-a perfect 10. mainly unsure about the card effect really

While this is true in general, it isn't in this case.

I'm sure he wasn't INTENTIONALLY talking crap about a card, but when a 10 year old at your locals sees a Vayu in your binder and says it sucks, does his cute little opinion matter enough to you to make you hate Vayu?

Simple matter, the opinions of a person who hardly knows competitive values of cards in actual duel scenarios using actual ruling data and logistics tend to fall a little short of "useful" in general fake online card critique. Think about it.
