Traditional Format explanation - because I'm a noob...

I've seen Traditional Format Decks, and heard about Traditional Format styles of play, but I'm still fuzzy on it. This thread is a request of all of you traditional-format-players out there: What goes down in Trad. Format? What's the gameplay like?

I'm a visual learner too, and was looking for videos of duels on youtube but I got a bunch of crap. So if you guys could find a video of a good traditional duel and send it to me, I would be SO very happy.... thanks!

Warm Regards,

Traditional Format is about seeing whose set of absurdly broken cards wins the game in the most ridiculously short period of time. In that sense' date=' it is indistinguishable from Advanced Format.

I... wow. You just made me realize how much this game sucks.

You probably won't find any video for this. Search for decks like : exchange of the spirit, exodia FTK, magical scientist, empty jar, mass driver FTK. These are some strong decks that can win on the first turn. You also have chaos control who can disrupt with confiscation, crush card virus, the forceful sentry, delinquent duo, imperial order... Some other OTKs are pretty popular like cyber stein, norleras and last turn. Also you can find multiple yata lock variant.

It's probably the funniest format, even when you lose. You can find my chaos deck here : http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-133660.html

The side isn't posted but there's something for everything.

Games are fast, not drawing your side is almost an auto lost.

Thunder dragon thins your deck (less cards in your deck = more chance to draw the best cards). It gives you light to remove for chaos and cards to discard for graceful charity, card destruction...

"Drawing your side" means to draw the cards you used from your side deck. If you don't know what's a side deck it's in the rule book.
