Gradius Series V.S. Raiden Series

As we know, Gradius and Raiden are both very old Shoot 'em up Series. Both are very fun to play, very old, have very good music, did I mention very fun?

 

So what I would like to know is, which is better in your opinion?

 

I vote for Gradius only because I've been a Gradius-freak since I was a toddler. I got into Raiden in my Teen years.

Gradius, they can be used in Duels. ^___^
