The war I don't care about, but they're doing it all wrong. A good plan of what we should do. If we can find the Taliban, or the majority of them anyway, and get them to take cover in a remote building, then we could make sure the citizens are out of the way over there first then after they take cover in the remote building we bomb the building and kill any survivors. It sounds harsh and out of the way but if you really think about it, it's kind of a solid idea. We wipe them out and no one gets hurt and no more of our Marines are killed.

 

That's "if" we can find the Taliban.

 

And that's "if" we can stop the citizens from thinking America is evil. Otherwise someone in the citizen group will start a "new" Taliban.

Because we aren't trying to destroy the whole country. Like brushfire said, we are trying to establish a stable govt. Why, I have no damn clue. But we cannot do that as long as the Taliban is "active", for lack of a better term.

one of my closest friends just went over a week ago. Never even had the chance to say goodbye. He's there for 6 months at the least.
