This set is focused on dealing effect damage. All monsters provide constant damage inflicting effects, and also have very high defenses to keep that up. Also, all monsters in this Archetype have these phrases in their effect: "This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack.", because they have 0 ATK and the damaging effects can be used in the turn these monsters are summoned. All Effect Damage this archetype does is focused in your End Phases, so it can be amplified by various continuous traps and "Memory of another time". As for spells, they do not aid the Archetype in general, but particular cards. They are all Equip Cards, have "Charm" in their names and this phrase in their effect: "This card cannot be destroyed except by it's own effect or when the monster equipped to it is removed from the field. You can destroy this card any time during your turn."

[spoiler=Lore (Witness of the Ages)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. If 1 monster you control is destroyed by a card effect, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects until the end of the turn this effect was activated. When this card is destroyed by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal with the number of turns that have passed since this card was Normal Summoned x 400 during your next End Phase.

[spoiler=Lore (Feral Symbiote)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. You can Tribute this card to negate the attack of a monster your opponent controls and change it to Defense position. If this card is removed from the field by it's own effect, place 1 Symbio Counter (max. 1) on a monster your opponent controls. A monster with a Symbio Couter on it is treated as a Beast-Type monster and gains the following effect:

- If this card is Tributed for a Tribute Summon, you lose Life Points equal with the ATK of the Summoned monster during your opponent's next End Phase.[spoiler=Clarification]The Counter is put on an opponent's monster, so after that monster is tributed your opponent loses life points during YOUR end phase.

During each of your End Phases, inflict 300 damage to your opponent and place 1 Scrap Counter on this card. For every Scrap Counter on it, this card loses 150 DEF. You can discard any number of DARK monsters from your hand to remove twice as many Scrap Counters on this card. If you do so, inflict 200 damage to your opponent for every Scrap Counter removed by this effect.

[spoiler=Lore (Pastor of the Underworld)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. Every time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. You can remove 4 Spell Counters from this card to Special Summon a Level 4 monster that can be Normal Summoned from your Graveyard. During each of your End Phases, if a monster was Special Summoned by the effect of this card, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

If this card is sent to the Graveyard while you control 1 or more other monsters, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. During each of your End Phases, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of monsters in your Graveyard x 100.

[spoiler=Lore (Mistress of the Dragon Land)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. Once per turn, you can change the battle position of 1 monster your opponent controls (flip effects do not activate). During each of your End Phases, inflict damage to your opponent equal with the number of Attack position monsters he controls x 300.

As long as you control this card, increase any Effect Damage dealt to your opponent by 100. Also, increase the DEF of all "Kage Defender" monsters you control by 200.

[spoiler=Lore (Lord of Sins)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. Every time your opponent activates a Trap Card, place 1 Sin Counter on this card. If there are 7 Sin Counters on this card, you win the game. If this card is removed from the field, deal damage to your opponent equal with the number of Sin Counters on this card x 1000 during your next End Phase. In the turn this effect is activated, no other Effect Damage against your opponent applies, and "Kage Defender - Memory of Another Time" cannot use it's effect. Any Effect Damage dealt by this card cannot surpass half of your opponent's Life Points.

You can destroy this card any time during your turn. While this card is equipped to "Kage Defender - Memory of Another Time", it can deal any amount of Effect Damage with it's effect. If the monster equipped to this card is destroyed, send it and this card back to your Deck.

You can destroy this card any time during your turn. While this card is equipped to "Kage Defender - Feral Symbiote", if the monster equipped to this card is removed from the field by it's own effect place 1 Symbio Counter on all face-up monster your opponent controls and send this card back into your Deck.

[spoiler=Charm of Deep Manipulation]This card cannot be destroyed except by it's own effect or when the monster equipped to it is removed from the field. You can destroy this card any time during your turn. While this card is equipped to "Kage Defender - Mistress of the Dragon Land", it's effect that says "During each of your End Phases, inflict damage to your opponent equal with the number of Attack position monsters he controls x 300." is negated. Also, it gains this effect:

- During each of your End Phases, inflict damage to your opponent equal with the number of monsters he controls x 300.

You can destroy this card any time during your turn. While this card is equipped to "Kage Defender - Lord of Sins", you can remove 1 Sin Counter from the monster equipped to this card to activate 1 of these effects:

- Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent during your next End Phase.

- Destroy all Spells and Trap Cards your opponent controls and inflict 300 damage for each card destroyed by this effect during your next End Phase. Remove "Charm of Impurity" from play.

Unless it is the only monster you control, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is destroyed by battle, end your opponent's Battle Phase and increase your Life Points by 400 for every one of your opponent monsters that has not attacked this turn.

As long as you control this card, every time you take damage increase your Life Points by the same amount and record the gain as Virtual Life Points. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you lose Life Points equal to the number of Virtual Life Points recorded, this effect cannot be chained.

[spoiler=Lore (Alchemist of the Cosmos)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. As long as you control only LIGHT and DARK monsters, increase this card's DEF by 500. Once during each of your End Phases, you can remove from play 1 DARK and 1 LIGHT monster you control to increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the combined monster's DEF.

Every time a monster you control is Tributed, destroyed or removed from the field, place 1 Sentence Counter (max. 1) on a monster your opponent controls. During each of your End Phases, you can use 1 of these effects:

- Destroy this card and all monsters with Sentence Counters on them.

- Increase your Life Points by an amount equal with the number of monsters with Sentence Counters on them x the number of "Ranpu Defender" monsters you control x 100.

[spoiler=Lore (Artifact Statue)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. If this card would be destroyed by battle, reduce it's ATK by 500 instead. As long as this card's ATK is equal to 1000 or less, all Battle Damage it receives becomes piercing. During your End Phase, you can Tribute this card to increase your life points by an amount equal with the amount of ATK this card lost due to its effect.

As long as you control this card, you can activate Spell Cards during your opponent's turn. During each of your End Phases, increase your Life Points by the number of Spell Cards you activated during your opponent's turn x 300. If you gain 900 Life Points or more due to this effect, take one Spell Card from your Graveyard and Put it into your hand. If you activate that Spell Card, remove it from play.

[spoiler=Lore (Levisaurus)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. As long as you control this card, Set monsters your opponent controls are destroyed at the end of the turn they are flipped face-up. Also, all monsters your opponent controls that have attacked during his Battle Phase are switched to Defense Position. During each of your Standby Phases, you lose 1000 Life Points. During each of your End Phases, increase your Life Points by the number of face-up LIGHT monsters you control x 500.

This card cannot be selected as an attack target (if this card is the only monster you control, your opponent can attack you directly). As long as you control this card and have more than 3000 Life Points, every time you take Battle Damage or Effect Damage, you can reduce your Life Points by 33% to negate the damage. During each of your End Phases, discard 1 "Ranpu Defender" from your hand to increase your Life Points by 700.

[spoiler=Lore (Healer of Spirits)]This card can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot attack. During each of your End Phases, you can activate 1 of these effects:

- Take any "Ranpu Defender" from your Graveyard and put it into your Deck. Decrease your Life Points by 10%.

- Take any "Ranpu Defender" from your Graveyard and remove it from play. Increase your Life Points by 10%.

- Special Summon any "Ranpu Defender" from your Graveyard. Decrease your Life Points by half or by 2000. The higher cost will be applied.

For every face-up "Ranpu Defender" you control, toss a coin. All monsters that have the result Heads cannot be destroyed by battle until the end of the turn. For every monster that has the result Tails, increase your Life Points by 500. If the results of all tosses are Heads, destroy all monsters you control.

If you have 600 Life Points or less, quadruple your Life Points. If you have 800 Life Points or less, triple your life points. If you have 1100 Life Points or less, double your Life Points. If this card was activated during your opponent's turn, its activation is treated as the activation of 2 Spell Cards.

[spoiler=Lore (Ruby Sword of the Guard)]You can only equip this card to a monster that has "Ranpu Defender" or "Guardian" in its name. A monster equipped with this card gains 1 Counter Counter during each of your End Phases. When a monster equipped with this card is attacked, remove a number Counter Counters from this card equal to the Level of the attacking monster to destroy the attacking monster. Destroy this card after this effect was used twice and increase your Life Points by 1000.

During each of your End Phases, remove 1 Conglomerated Counter on this card and increase your Life Points by 200. If there are no Conglomerated Counters on this card, send it to the Graveyard. If this card is sent to the Graveyard while it has Conglomerated Counters on it, you gain Life Points equal to the number of Conglomerated Counters that were on this card before it was destroyed x 200.

377270.jpg377270.jpg[spoiler=Lore (Divine Wrath #2)]You can only activate this card when your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card, when you control more Spells and Trap cards than your opponent. Negate the activation of the opponent's Spell/Trap Card and destroy all Spells and Trap Cards on the field. Increase your Life Points by 500 x the difference in number of Spells and Trap Cards destroyed between the two players. If "Shining Orb of Light" is destroyed by this effect, increase your Life Points by 300 per Conglomerate Counter.

If you say so...changed the effect of Grand Finale so it does not win the match anymore. Also, changed the name of Soul Purpose, Protection to Psych Zone and added more effect (it does not support kage defenders, but it makes the effect less bland).

 

Right now, I am making a second set of cards, the Ranpu Defenders. They will all be Light and make you gain Life Points. Also, I will add an alternate winning condition for having high LP (via Field Spell Card).
