fenrir
I wanted to make one. Yay. Anyways, I wanted to take tactics to a simpler level, so let's see how YCM does huh? You and a squad of 5 soldiers have to seize a secluded harbor. There are about 10 men guarding, none of them trained from the Military. Simple common men. The harbor is made from wood, and the docking area stands about 9 feet above the water during low tide. During this time, it's possible to walk under the docking section of the harbor. The harbor master resides in a cabin that is located 30 meters away from the harbor. The harbor is composed of two shacks with a flat docking area that can dock 1 small vessel. 3 of the soldiers are standing guard outside. 1 is in the middle of the two shacks, another is at the far end of the docking area, and another is patrolling the trail leading to the harbor master. The other 2 are each guarding the insides of the shacks. The other five soldiers stand guard around the harbor master's house. Your goal is to kill the harbor master without any causalities on your side. The terrain is a simple beach, that slops downward about 5 feet. And high tide covers that and an extra 3 feet. There are nearby mangroves to use for cover. Your starting position is where the harbor master's cabin would be if the map was inverted. The path to the harbor master's cabin is heavily surrounded by mangroves. Your troops are: John; Young man, grew up on a farm. Quite strong. Weapons: Blunderbuss, hatchet.Roy; A 'gentleman'. Has great aim, but is deathly afraid of water. Weapons: Bolt-action musket, hunting dagger.Alexander; A city boy, handles muskets expertly yet can barely defend himself when it comes to melee. Weapon: Bolt-action musket.Alice; A young woman, is an expert in healing wounds. Can't defend herself in any way. Weapon: n/aBoyd; Veteran soldier, his older age makes him incapable of running long distances. Weapon: Musket, rapier. Your enemies are equipped with muskets. Let's see how YCM does. Oh, and there's no correct way of doing this. There are many various ways. PS: The harbor is littered with large pieces of wood. CrabHelmet
Burn the harbor. While that's distracting everyone, send in one guy to assassinate the master.

CrabHelmet
Burn the harbor. While that's distracting everyone' date=' send in one guy to assassinate the master.[/quote'] Ooh but which guy? >=] Roy. Guns are noisy and would undo the distraction, and the hunting dagger seems good for cutting someone's throat. Since he's a good shot, there's at least a backup plan if the master flees. So far Crab is the only one to solve it. YCM, I'm dissapointed. =/ My Remake was better. I have no idea. Proof?

I just felt like representing tactics on a more 'personal' level.
