I know for sure that he has at least 3 fully loaded 30 round mags with it since he let me go through his M16A2 before and I saw those mags there. Also, the National Guard Armory not too far away from my house contains a small surplus of M16s (pretty sure the A2 variant) obviously because it's an Armory and it is usually guarded though.
