[Shadow Zero]

Leo ends his turn and Seto draws a card. he plays soul exchange and tributes Leos Marauding Captain and his own face down monster to summon a Blue-Eyes white dragon and attacks. Leo activates the Trap Card Call of the Haunted and brings an XX-Saber Fulhelmknight back from the grave, using it's effect to negate the attack. Seto puts a card face down on the field and ends his turn and Leo draws a card. He activates the Spell Card brain control, Sacrificing 800 of his own Life Points to take control of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Finally, Leo activates the spell heavy storm, destroying all spells and traps on the field before attack Seto's Life Points directly, thereby ending the duel.

[Compass]

Leo sighed, as clouds obsecured his view completely. "Oh, well. Looks like I won't be able to see the duel..." He said to himself, passing his hand though the dark mist. However, it's my nature as an angel to save the loser...I refuse to just leave... He sat again, simply watching the dark clouds.

 

OoC: No, I didn't. I thought you ment the duel, not saying anything about it. ANd, if you please, why do you keep bossing me around? I'm more then happy to comply, it's just it seems...bad?

The duel ended, Leo Kaiba waved his Millennium Destroyer, causing the clouds to disperse, bringing Seto Kaibas office back into view. Seto looked at Leo for several long seconds before saying "You have come a long way, but you still have a much farther way to go before you're at my level." Seto takes a card from his deck and says "Here." as he throws it toward Leo who catches it and gives it a look. Without his expression changing, he looks up and meets Seto's eyes, who nods before turning and walking behind his desk again, looking out of the office window that takes up one whole side of his office. "I have some things to take care of. Seto, Mr. Phinix wants to talk to you. I'll meet up with him and the others at the hotel when i am finished." Leo walks out of the office and takes the elevator back down to the lobby where his duel runner is.

After the duel against Seto' date=' Leo mets the man who took Seto's Title the year before. That man was Johnathan Moto. "Hey watch where you are going kid," said Johnathan "Is that what I think it is, it's one of the Blue Eyes White Dragons. I never thought this day would come. Look here." [Johnathan shows Leo a card'] "I don't believe it, how do you have one," replies Leo. "You better believe it. There are only 3 Blue Eyes White Dragon cards left, I got mine a few years ago when Seto and I were rivals," answered Johnathan, "We were in the heat of the best of 7 duel to decide the new champion since our last duel was a draw."

IC: "Well, Mr. Kaiba, it's quite the honor, to watch you and your son battle. I wished to talk to you because I have a small concern. It involves the three God cards, and the millinium items. You possess one, as does your son. And I need them, in order to keep the peace of the world." He sighed. "The items are incrantations of shadow powers, brought back in acient times. They must be destroyed once every 4 decades or so, in order to keep the balance of heaven and hell in order. And I am here to make sure that happens. So, Mr. Kaiba, I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but that rod you hold in your hand is on of the few I need. So, you have a choise...be able to hand it over when the time comes, and keep it for the time being...or give it to me now." He turned to Mr. Kaiba, again

"You have some nerve coming up here just to try telling me what to do." Seto Kaibalifts his right arm without looking at Leo and rotates the Millenium Rod so that it faces him and causes an unseen force to slam him into the wall where he is stuck. "And just where do you get off telling me that I have to give up my birthright?"

 

Kaiba reaches the ground floor and walks over to his duel runner, waving the security detail off as he approaches. The security detail leaves and Kaiba climbs onto his duel runner, suddenly having a bad feeling. As he sits down, His Millennium Destroyer starts glowing softly. Worried that something is wrong, he takes out his phone and calls his uncle Seto.

[Compass]

The force pushed Leo against the wall for awhile, but then it lifted. Or, rather, He lifted it. "Your shadow power doesn't faze me, Mr. Kaiba. It's opposite my nature. Which will it be?" He said, smiling still. "I'm supposeing you want to keep it untill I need it?"

[Shadow Zero]

Seto's phone rings immediately after the shadow power was lifted off of Leo. He answers it with the usual "What is it?" response that he gives, and is slightly surprised the hear Leo Kaiba on teh other end. "Oh, it's you. What do you want?" Kaiba listens for a few seconds and says "Yeah, your friend here is saying some nonsense about needing all of our items for something, as well as the god cards. I don't know what he means, but I don't like people telling me what to do." After a few more seconds, Seto says "Well all right." He holds the phone out to Leo Phinix and says, "He wants to talk to you."

[Compass]

Leo smiled. "Thank you, Mr. Kaiba. I'm sorry to have to tell you this." He picked up the phone, holding it up to his ear. "Hi, Leo. How are you?" He said. He hated having to gather the items, but he had to do it. "What do you need?"

[Shadow Zero]

"You LITTLE SHITHEAD!!! Just WHERE do you get off telling people that they have to give up their Millennium Items huh???!! You get your BUMBASS down here RIGHT. NOW!!!" Leo was yelling lour enough for Seto to clearly understand, and from where he was stranding he turned his head a little ways away from Leo Phinix and smiled widely as he chuckled a bit. Immediately upon finishing his rant, Kaiba hung up without even giving Leo a chance to respond...clearly very pissed by the current situation.

'On the otherside of town Johnathan Moto, the current dueling champion, was having his own problems. He held in his deck Slifer the Sky Dragon, a card his uncle Yugi Moto gave to him. Anyway, Johnathan was being chased by rare hunters that were looking for his Slifer. He didn't know why they wanted it he just knew that he had to defend it with his life.'

Leo sighed. "Ah. Kill the messenger, why don't you..." He muttered, then bowed to Mr. Kaiba. "Fogive me. I must take my leave." He quickly left the office, took the elevator downstairs, and walked up to the younger Kaiba. "Hi." He said, blandly. "Please don't hurt me."

[Shadow Zero]

Kaiba was standing next to his duel runner with his arms folded and wearing a very pissed expression on his face. Without giving it a moments thought, He immediately brocks Leo on the same ear as before and dragged him outside. "You have a lot of explaining to do fella. He drags Leo for a ways until they are in front of the 3 blue-eyes white dragons that are in the center of the Kaiba Corp. building and gave one final tug swinging Leo in front of where he was standing in front of the 3 Blue-eyes. "Now, you explain yourself right now, and you had better have a damn good reason for what you're trying to pull." As he says this, Kaiba presses a concealed button on the bottom side of the deck holder part of his duel disk still on his wrist, causing his duel runner to suddenly come screaming out of the Kaiba Corp. building and skiding to a stop directly behind him.

[Compass]

Leo rubbes his ear. "Ow...that hurt. But no matter. You know how the items where created. Now, you know these items are Shadow power in soild form. These are bad. They upset the balance of good and evil in the world. Therefore, they are destroyed, every few years or so. And the task has come to me. So, kill the messenger." He sighed. "Look, I'll have to give up my item too, so I know the lure of the items. But they are bad. And as for me, I am the ultimate emobodiment of good."

[Shadow Zero]

"Is that so?" Leo was not completely convinced, but he did understand the desire to have only good in the world. but even so... "tell me, you are aware that there needs to be balance in all things? I would remind you that Jaden Yuki faced off against the light of evil. Besides, my item is different. It wouldn't suffer being part of the Millenium Rod anymore, and so seperated from it. Do you even know why it is called the Millennium Destroyer?" Kaiba lifts the Millennium Destroyed out to his side, causing Leo's Millennium to rise out of from wherever it was hiding. "This is why." Leo swings the Millennium Destroyer out in front of himself as it takes the form of a staff. At the same time, The Millennium item that Leo possessed started to utter a scream as it started to crack from the power of an unseen force. "It is the only one that can unmake the other Millennium items. Afraid that it's power would be used to destroy the other Millennium Items, and even Egypt itself, Atems father ordered that a ritual take place that would seal it within the Millennium Rod while Atem was but a lad of few years." Returning the Millennium Destroyer back to its original form, Kaiba stops the unseen force that pressed in upon the Millennium Item that Leo had and allowed it to fall to the ground as the cracks in it slowly started to heal over.

Johnathan found out a little later that someone from Kaiba Corps sent the rare hunters to get Slifer. "I thought I smelled a rat," said Johnathan, "I guess poor old Seto might be up to his old tricks." Just then the 6 time champion Nathan showed up. "I know that for a fact that Seto is not behind this. He doesn't know the God Cards are still around after he saw your uncle defeated Atem," replied Nathan, " But I sense that he does now I think that my old friend's visitor told him when I left his office. I don't know who it was, but I think it was one of his many nephews."

[Compass]

Leo smiled, as no millinium item appeared. "My item is not here. It's the resting place of the items. And, no, the items are evil. Humans are evil, but sometimes almost good. The items are pure evil. Therefore, they are destroyed every few years, in order to keep the balance of peace." He sighed. "I was not aware of the destroyer...But, there was a extra hole in the heart..." He sighed, yet again. "I'm sorry. But I'm going to ask that you agree to giving the item to me someday, when I need it."

[Shadow Zero]

"Don't hold your breath." Kaiba swung the Millennium destroyer to the side, causing a blade to extend from it and putting the Item into the unused sword sheath on his left side. "I have things to do, so i am going to be on my way now. I suggest that you tread carefully. I sense that there will be those who would rather kill then give up what they feel as rightfully theirs." Kaiba mounts his duel runner and starts up the engine, causing the tires to spin around as he makes a stationary u-turn and goes screaming off onto the roadway at top speed. I think Yusei should be ready by now. I just hope that it'll be useful for me.

"Johnathan, I came to get my title back," said Nathan, "You held on to that Slifer for to long! Did you forget that your uncle gave you that card so you could have a chance to beat Seto." "I know," replied Johnathan, " He told me himself when I first got Slifer. He told me to give it to you when the time was right, but now is not the time. We must find Seto's mysterious visitor from yesturday before it's to late." They both set out for Kaiba Corps not knowing that the rare hunters were waiting for them.

Kaiba arrives at the garage where Yusei lives and works to find him holding the hilt that he had been given to work on. Kaiba walks over to Yusei with his hand placed upon the part of the Millennium destroyer that now serves as a hilt. "I see you found the Millennium sword." Yusei says as Kaiba walks up to him.

"Millennium sword?" Kaiba was confused. He knew that his Millennium Item had changed shape, but did not know that it had a new name as well.

"You mean that you didn't know? The Millennium destroyer serves as the medium that calls upon the forbidden items that were not brought into this world." Yusei wasn't surprised at Kaibas confusion. He himself had learned much after the defeat of the dark signers, although he really didn't put all that much by it.

"I see. So this is the Millennium sword...which also means that I had summoned the Millennium staff earlier?"

Yusei nodded in confirmation of this statement from Kaiba. "That's right. There are also many more besides that, but we'll save that for later. First, I have a couple of things for you." Yusei returned the hilt to Kaiba explaining what he had discovered, and how it was used. He also gave a second one that looked just like it, but was supposedly its twin. Activating them both, one in each hand, Kaiba discovered that they were blades composed of energy.

"Hmm? My, that's quite the fancy sword you have there, now isn't it?" For reasons unknown, Pegasus had just suddenly showed up and seemed to be admiring the Sword in it's hilt.

"What are you doing here Pegasus?" Kaiba knew that Pegasus had a meeting with his uncle in an hour, but he couldn't for the life of him think as to why he would be here of all places.

"Actually, I wanted to give you this." Pegasus handed over a deck box that when opened, revealed a bunch of duel monsters cards...except that they were all blank.

"What the crap? Pegasus, what's the meaning of...?!" Kaiba didn't even get to finish asking, because when he looked up, he found that Pegasus was gone again. Typical. He always disappears before i can get a question in edgewise. Deciding not to pursue the matter, Kaiba thanks Yusei for his time and paid thrice the regular fee before heading off on his duel runner in the direction of the hotel with Speedy going along beside him. Then, suddenly changing his mind, Kaiba hits the new button that causes the Duel Runner to become enlosed in a sphere just a little larger then a golf ball and puts it in his inside pocket and jumps on Speedy. His Turbo-Synchron realizing just what it was he had in mind, it turned around as he called his Stardust Dragon Mithrandir over and saw it flying over in a few minutes. Jumping from Speedy just as Mithrandir goes flying over, he lands on one of the outstretched wings and runs over to his usual sitting spot and sits down as Mithrandir climbs to the sky, aiming straight for the Kaiba Corp. buillding once more.

On there way to Kaiba Corps they find Pegasus leaving Yusei's place. " Hello Pegasus, haven't seen you since you stopped by at Duel Acadamy," said Nathan "What are you doing..." Then out of nowhere rare hunters surrond the three. At that same moment Yusei came out. "i guess you need a hand Nathan," remarked Yusei, "Ok rare hunters this is how it's going to work. All four of us will duel against four of you. If you win you get each of our rarest cards, but if we win you leave us alone. The leader just said this, "Bring it on!" "Ok then both teams start with 16000 no one can attack on there first turn," said Johnathan. "Fair enough, Chase, Johnny, Nick get over here," cried the lead rare hunter, "It's show time!" "I'll start," said Nathan, "I summon, Blackwing Bora the Spear in ATK mode. Then I put three cards face-down and call it a turn." "I go," shouted Johnny, "I summon Ghost Gardna in DEF mode. Then I put one card face-down and end my turn." "Look's like I go now," said Yusei, "I summon Speed Warrior in ATK Mode. I put three cards face-down. Your move Chase." "As you wish," remarked Chase, "I activate polymerization to fuse my five dragons. I fusion summon, Five Headed Dragon! I end my turn." "I forfet my spot in the duel, I have no deck," said Pegasus. "My turn then," said lead rare hunter, "I summon Mystical Elf in DEF mode. I put all five cards face-down and end my turn." "Time to show you how its done," said Johnathan, I put a card face-down in DEF mode, then I put four cards face down and end my turn." "I draw," said Nathan, "I play Final Countdown! We have a total of 20 turns left after that I win! Reveal face-down, Iscarus Attack. By tributing my Blackwing Bora the Spear, I can destroy two cards. First, I destroy Five Headed Dragon! Now Mystical Elf! Reveal face-down number two and three, Gift Box and Bad Reaction to Simochi. Instead of gaining 3000 from Gift Box you lose 3000 thanks to Bad Reaction to Simochi." "I got something I want to add, reveal face-down, Gift Box," said Yusei. "Thanks to Bad Reaction to Simochi you lose another 3000 lifepoints. Now you only have 10,000." I have something that can make this duel go quicker," stated Johnathan, "Reveal face-downs, three Gift Boxes. Now you lose another 9000 lifepoints. End this Nathan!" "With pleasure," replied Nathan, I summon Cyber Dragon in ATK mode. Now attack Chase directly and end this." "You win," said Chase. "Then get lost and don't come back," replied Yusei. "Come on guys lets get out of here," said the lead rare hunter.

Hm? I thought I just heard something right then. Kaiba turns around to see some suspicious looking characters walking away, each holding onto a card. He almost decided that it wasn't worth it, but then noticed that one of them was holding onto Slifer the Sky Dragon! "THOSE PUNKS!!!" Jumping off of Mithrandir, as it turns around and screams towards the ground, Kaiba lands between Yusei and the other three, and the rare hunters. "Come forth...OBELISK THE TORMENTOR!!!" Unsheathing his Millennium sword, Kaiba swings it out to the side as obelisk appears and punches the ground in front of the rare hunters, knocking them out and causing them to drop the cards that they had taken. Kaiba goes to pick up the cards and walks over to Yusei and the others. "I believe these are yours?" Kaiba holds out the cards so that each of their respective owners can take them back "When di those creps show up though?" As Kaiba asked that question, Obelisk disappeared. [As I thought. The Egyptian Gods cannot stay summoned outside of a Shadow Duel.[/i]

(I have gained control of YCM's spinner. oh, and here is a list of the items i have gained so far.

1: The Millennium Destroyer which was unsealed from the Millennium Rod during the Shadow Duel with Seto.

2: The hilt that I had given to Yusei to investigate.

3: The hilts twin.

4: a deck of blank cards from pegasus.

numbers 3 and four fill the 2 item quota while numbers 1 and 2 are from things that i'd had before.)
