[spoiler=[b]EN001 - The Rising Phoenix[/b]]2znpug8.png

[spoiler=Lore]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "The Rebirth of the Phoenix". Once per turn, you can switch the battle position of this card. Each time this effect is activated flip a coin. If it is heads, deal Direct Damage to your opponent equal to this cards ATK. If it is tails, this card is destroyed and Special Summon a "Baby Phoenix" in defense position.

[spoiler=Lore]Send 1 face up "Baby Phoenix" you control with 2 Rebirth Counters to the graveyard and Special Summon a "The Rising Phoenix".

[spoiler=Lore]Once per turn during your Standby Phase, place 1 Rebirth Counter (max 4.) on this card. You can remove 2 Rebirth Counters to send 1 card on the field to the Graveyard.

[spoiler=Lore]While this card is on the field, increase the ATK of all FIRE monsters by 600 and decrease DEF by 400.

[spoiler=Lore]Activate this card when a Winged Beast-Type monster is sent to the graveyard. Send 1 face down card on your opponents side of the field to the graveyard.

[spoiler=Lore]1 FIRE Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, increase your Life Points by 500 for each FIRE monster in your graveyard. Once per turn you can pay 1000 Life Points to special summon a FIRE monster from the graveyard.

Very' date=' very, very underpowered. Getting out The Rising Phoenix requires you to defend that weakling for six whole turns, and even if you manage that, you'll still have a fifty-fifty chance of it self-destructing.

uhmmm defend for 3 turns.. and its nota 50-50 chance only if you change positions

uhmmm defend for 3 turns.. and its nota 50-50 chance only if you change positions

 

Three of your turns, three of your opponent's turns. Six in total. That's how turns are counted; see Final Countdown.

 

And of course you could decide not to use the effect... but if you do that then you just went through that whole process for nothing more than a 2800 ATK beatstick, which is absurd.

These cards were poorly thought out. As crab helmet pointed out already, it's very underpowered. Compare this with something like Blue Eyes White Dragon. Or even Armed Dragon Lv 3, 5, 7. It takes 3 turns for AD Lv 3 to evolve to Lv 7. And Armed Dragon Level 7 is actually stronger than "The Rising Phoenix". However, Lv 5 is a 2400 ATK Monster, with an effect similar to Lv 7, where as your monster has no intermediate stage and is much harder to summon, and requires a Specific Spell Card.

see with 6 turns of defending it it's unlikely Rising Phoenix will actually get onto the field

 

and therefore it makes it very Uped. Your monster stats are just fine the way they are though' date=' no need for changes there
