CinnamonStar
Rap is disappearing...Yes music will become more electro-oriented but also neo-classical and folkish. People are digging the old stuff out. Steampunk music is usually electro and neo-victorian.
Womi
Let's pick a random example. How about......Beyoncé.Remember her first songs without the Destiny's Child? Kinda rap-ish, she moved over emotional songs and now landed at electronic music together with Lady Gaga.

Deucalion
RnB is gateway music. Most people end up at RnB after pop, then move into the rest of the electronic genre, be it electrorock or trip hop. I find RnB rather bland, but it is probably a necessary evil if we want to get people on to stuff like MGMT, Gorillaz, and Pendulum, Ratatat, and Radiohead. Deucalion
Well, the line between electrorock and DnB is extremely thin at best. I've always viewed DnB as a slightly harder version of electrorock, much in the realm of the difference between rock and hard rock. I like both DnB and electrorock, as it happens.
