Ethereal Cyber Dragon (EDIT)

A card i came up with for the Cyber Dragon Set. This helps make it easier to fuse Cyber Dragons together.

EDIT: apparently there have been a few misunderstandings about this card, so i changed the effect lore slightly and im going to tell you what it's good for. Say this card is in your graveyard and you have 2 Cyber Dragons in your hand or on the field and you want to make Cyber End Dragon using Polymerization, you can just use Polymerization and mix your 2 Cyber Dragons in your hand or on the field plus you can use this card to fuse as well while it's still in your Graveyard. It's actually a very useful effect for that deck.

The only time this card would be any good is for Chimertech Overdragon I can't see how its of any use for the others, as you have to send 1 Cyber Dragon to the Grave to summon it. Once you get rid of a Cyber Dragon you get another Cyber Dragon as such as it copies the name. Have I read the card right, or am I missing somethng??

Maybe if you have it so you Tribute a Cyber Dragon and then this card count as 2 Cyber Dragons for a Fusion Summon that way you get a advantage towards your Fusion Summoning. You could have a draw back that on the turn this card is Summoned you cannot Fusion Summon...just an idea for you, cool pic and funky name but does sound abit like Cyber Eltanin!! 8/10 Im a big fan of the Cyber Dragons too...keep the cool cyber cards coming.

the thing with this is that even if it's destroyed it can still be used as a fusion material monster to summon a cyber dragon fusion, where as a normal cyber dragon would not unless you had another card for that effect. not to mention it is definitely stronger than any normal cyber dragon. I wasnt really trying to make any like revolutionary cyber dragon or anything, just sumthing to support them.

The last sentence is pointless and unneeded.

It can be "This card's name is treated as "Cyber Dragon" while it is in your Graveyard". Works the same way.

with the last sentence, he prevents chimeratech usage.

it needs to be treated as cyber dragon while face up on the field, otherwise it's oneof this or the original cydra, like the harpies. not bad. 7/10

you don't see the "at all times" in the text

and due to the last sentence you can't use it for Chimeratech

that's why I'd change it to it's only treated as a Cyber Dragon while's it's on the field

7.6/10

i dont understand, why cant it be used to summon Chimeratech?

and its not suppose to be for Chimeratech anyway

They're judging it based on the meta.

The only semi-useful "Cyber Dragon" fusion is "Chimeratech Overdragon", so they're evaluating this card's usefulness based on the summonability of that monster, and that monster only. It makes sense.

Second of all, the last sentence is redundant. ALL monsters can be used as Fusion Material Monsters while in the Graveyard, it's just that "Polymerization", and some of its variants (Contact Fusions, RFP-fusions, "Super Polymerization", and the lot) just don't target cards in the Graveyard.

You need to change the writing to:

This card can only be Normal Summoned or Set by Tributing 1 "Cyber Dragon" you control. This card's name is always treated as "Cyber Dragon" [you write it this way. See Harpie Lady 1 and her cohorts]. This card can still be targeted by "Polymerization" and "Super Polymerization" when it is in the Graveyard.

There ya go! As for usefulness, I don't really see it. There's no chance of summoning this card (seeing as "Cyber Dragon" is Limited right now), so your only hope is to use "Foolish Burial" or something like it.... the only Fusion Card you SHOULD be using is "Overload Fusion" anyways, so the last effect isn't great.

It's just another way to get "Chimeratech" out multiple times. I'd rather have a card that could Summon another "Chimeratech" using cards already removed from play.... hmmm, actually, that's pretty awesome.
