The title pretty much says it all.

 

This is an organization used for the (hopefully humorous) analysis and application of humor in fictional narratives, and especially parodies and deconstructive parodies. Independent humorous works will be linked to, and hopefully, the association will be able to create a joint parody work based on our analysis.

 

To apply, simply post a humorous, original fictional drabble. Parody is unnecessary, and even discouraged; a simple drabble offers no room for parody, as it mostly deals with the overarching plots a drabble doesn't have.

 

Our ranking system is based on mortality. The worse a comedy author you are, the more likely you are to die. Oh, and you'll all start off as buck privates, but if you're good, you'll rise through the ranks quickly and become regular privates. It'd be arrogant of me to try and assign mine own rank, so I don't have one. I've included some examples to show exactly what mortality type we're talking about, with two rather obvious exceptions that exist solely as an incredibly obtuse reference.

 

Promotion is based on conventions and humor. You have to wait twelve hours after being judged "ready-to-promote" before you can actually promote. Fortunately, this means that literally no one will remain a buck private for much longer than twelve hours.

 

My credentials (though the middle has yet to get funny beyond the god-awful "translations" and the former is dead with my GIMP and has crappy-beyond-crappy art, the latter [my reviews, that is] was quite good IMO).
