Delta_Sigma
My new set, Eternal Nightmare. This set focuses primarily on stalling the opponent out into their doom, whether by agonizing Life Point drain, at the hands of the Eternal ones, or by pure frustration of not being able to do anything at all. This is at its core, a lock down Deck based on doing burn damage, shutting down cards that take high tributes and have high costs, and bringing its own monsters out. All cards are capable of holding 12 Eternity Counters, like the faces on a clock. Lore: This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 3 Eternity Counters from the field. This card returns to the top of the owner's Deck during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Special Summoned, Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. When this card is summoned, return a card on the field to its owners hand, you can send it to the top of the owner's Deck if there are 4 or more Eternity Counters on the field. At the beginning of any of your opponents Battle Phases after this card has been sent to the hand or top of the Deck, summon a Eternal Gardna Token to the field. (0 ATK 3000 DEF 5 Star Warrior DARK) This Token is destroyed at the end of that Battle Phase. Lore: If this monster is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, switch it into Defense mode and place an Eternity Counter on a card that collects Eternity Counters. Place an Eternity Counter on this card during each of your Standby Phases. Gain 100 Life Points on each of your Standby Phases for each Eternity Counter on this card. Your opponent takes 100 Direct Damage on their Standby Phase for each Eternity Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Eternity Counters on it, place an Atrophy Token on top of your opponents Deck if they activate an effect that destroys cards. If this card is sent to the hand, Deck, or out of play, Special Summon it to the field. If this monster is destroyed, place it into your Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. Lore: This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 7 Eternity Counters from the field and its own effect. If your opponent draws outside their Draw Phase, they skip their next Draw Phase. Place an Eternity Counter on this card during each of your Standby Phases, and when a Draw Phase is skipped. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to Eternity Counters on it. Once per Battle Phase, negate an Attack on this monster and if possible redirect it to a monster on any player's field. This monster gains ATK and DEF equal to the ATK and DEF of the monster redirected until the end of the Battle Phase. If this card is destroyed or removed from the field while it has 3 or more Eternity Counters, remove it from play. Summon it to the field on your next End Phase if it was removed from play by this effect. TOKEN (Incase it isn't obvious)Lore: This card cannot be discarded from the hand, used as a cost, or summoned. If this card is in the graveyard, all players can place an Eternity Counter on their side of the field on their End Phases. If this card is out of play, place it on top of the Deck. Extra Thoughts: I'm sorry, but I don't know how to make a Token card, but Synchro is closest in color.I've learned, so I'm taking the second post for Spells and Traps. *Spells/Traps* Lore: After the resolution of any Attack declared on you, the attacking card is removed from play. Summon any monster removed by this cards effect at the end of the second Battle Phase after they have been removed. You can send any monster that would be summoned to the field by this effect to the hand if this card has at least as many Eternity Counters as the monster has Stars. Gain 100 Life Points on each of your End Phases for each Eternity Counter on the field. Place an Eternity Counter on this card on each of your Standby Phases. If your opponent Draws outside their Draw Phase, they skip their next Draw Phase. If cards are returned to the hand, they are sent to the top of the Deck instead. On every End Phase, you can place a card from that player's graveyard on top of their Deck. If a player shuffles their Deck, shuffle an Atrophy Token into their Deck. Place an Eternity Counter on this card every Standby Phase. Lore: On each players End Phase, all face up monsters on their side of the field are returned to their hand. If this card has 3 or more Eternity Counters on it, your opponent skips their Main Phase 1. Place an Eternity Counter on this card every Standby Phase. Lore: Discard 1 card. Send all cards returned from the field to the owners hand in the chain this is activated in to the top of the owners Deck. If there are more than 4 Eternity Counters on the field, pick up a card. After resolution, place an Eternity Counter on the field for every second card sent to the top of a player's Deck by this cards effect.
ragnarok1945
for the first card, you didn't state the type and attribute of the tokens and you can't have a lv1 synchro, the lowest level they can be is lv2 along with many OCG errors 4/
Delta_Sigma
I made the edit about the Synchro being the closest I could find to represent the token, so Fix'd.Added Chrome Vortex to the mix. This deck is probably going to be heavy in Spell/Trap Support, I can state that now.
Delta_Sigma
Time Thievery added to the set, I'm probably going to switch to a couple more of the monsters soon enough though.
Delta_Sigma
Added Sigil of the Beast. And am I just being too quiet to be heard over all the other threads, or is it more that people don't want to read these? I'll have to try posting singles sometime to find out if they get notice. ragnarok1945
for Sigil of the Beast, you need to have a max counter limit on the card you can't place a token on a deck, you can only place it on the field, so change it to putting the token on your opponent's side of the field plus the token you need to state a type for it 7/
Delta_Sigma
Interesting, I had really thought ??? was an official type. Changed, in that case. As for changing Atrophy Tokens to the field, that defeats the entire purpose of what I was trying to do. I was overall attempting to figure out a way to make your opponent waste draws on the Atrophy Tokens, and waste space in their hands with these. So I guess they're only 'like' Tokens in a small sense. Time Lord: Viola added to the set. Also, a notice at the top about the details of Eternity Counters.
