-Dragon: When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the DEF of the destroyed monster.

-Fiend: When this card declares an attack, change all Defense Position monsters your opponent controls to face-up Attack Position.

Well here I am just killing myself trying to gain fresh ideas and then it hits me: How about monsters who can shape shift. I think they are a great idea. Basically they're able to change their type to anything you desire (once per turn) and then they gain an effect based on the type you chose. So here are the rules to how they work!

Shifters are monsters who are able to change there monster type to anything you choose excluding divine but only once per turn. (Note that shifters can only change their type while face-up on the field. Also you can only pick the types in the card text)

If there type matches a type in their card text they gain the effect.

(Sorry, don't know a better way to say that)

If a Shifter monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, it is treated as having the same type it originally had.

A Shifter Monster cannot shift its type on the turn its summoned.

When a monster shifts its type it is called a Shift Summon and it is treated as a Special Summon

If I left out anything please tell me.

If you have any advice you'd like to offer please tell me.

If you'd like to comment, go right ahead.

If you'd like to tell me about your personal problems, the door is right behind you.

This part should be omitted completely:

"If a Shifter monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, it is treated as having the same type it had last. (Ex: Daemon Dragonus turns itself to a dragon-type monster. It is sent to the graveyard but it is still treated as a dragon-type monster)"

It requires more record keeping, making the idea less realistic if you keep this as a ruling for this new category-type.

I like how you think.... Changing right away!

OCG is flawless' date=' 'cept for the hyphens in place of bullets, pic is over-used. As MetalDevil said, the types should be limited.

9.1/10

Thanks!!! Oh yeah and about the bullets; I have no idea how to make them... I also just limited the types!!

Use bullets. They can be found on Paint, so it's not too hard.

I kind of like the idea... sorta. It depends on what kind of cards come out of it. The kind of things I see coming out of this are cards with a bad regular-type effect, and an awesome secondary-type effect that you summon with "Mystic Tomato" or something of its kind (appropriate to Attribute) during your opponent's turn. Then you change the type on your turn, and do something awesome....

Thanks for the comment. (Let's just pretend that the hyphens are bullets).
