έκλειψη
Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play the top 5 cards of your Deck. The ATK and DEF of this card equals the amount of card's in your hand x 1000. As long as this card remains Face-up on the field, no LIGHT monster can be Summoned. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be destroyed by card effects, returned to the player Hand/Deck or removed from play, its control cannot be switched, and it cannot be equipped with Equip Cards. If your opponent Sets a monster, Flip Summon it into Face-up Defense Position. If the monster has a FLIP Effect, remove it from play and inflict 500 Points of Damage to your opponent. This card cannot attack your opponent Directly. When this card destroys a monster in battle, the amount of Damage inflicted to your opponent is 0 Bombs away...If anyone wishes to help me word it amongst the inevitable flaming, it would be appreciated. ragnarok1945
not the first time I've seen the pic, but it's not too overused chances are you'll have 1 to 3 cards in your hand and don't negate DIVINE monster summoning, that's a near useless effect anyway 7/
ragnarok1945
yeah I'd do that since so many decks rely heavily on LIGHT monsters
DMZ
Ragnarok's reaction promises much good :)Anyway, a balanced version of Slifer, excluding Battle Damage. 9/
έκλειψη
Wow! I thought the reaction would be way worse about this card.

Wrathos
I believe its overpowered because the its a free special summon(the cost is hardly a cost, it would actually help most decks), will usually have 2000 or more attack, and has far too many immunities. Its only drawback is that it can't inflict damage when it destroys a monster, but it can still inflict damage in a direct attack.
