1st EDITION SUPER RARE version (TIN/VIDEO GAME PROMO)

genzo2.jpg

There can only be 1 face-up "Genzo" monster on the field. This card cannot be Normal

Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 1 “Genzo”

you control to the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, all Effect Monsters

on the field (excluding this monster) are treated as Normal Monsters and lose their

effect. In addition, once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can place 1 Power Restored

Counter on 1 monster on the field. When a monster has a Power Restored Counter

on it, the monster is treated as an Effect Monster and gains its effect.

Extremely impressive. Pics are good.

OCG: "And lose their effect" doesn't seem to be correct. Power Restored Counter doesn't need quotes.

I'm not sure these cards would be psychic. 9/10

"And lose their effect"

This is the OCG of Superalloy Beast Raptinus:

All face-up Gemini Monsters are treated as Effect Monsters' date=' [b']and gain their effects[/b].

I just did the reverse to that effect and the word lose is acceptable because:

Ancient Sacred Wyvern's lore:

While your Life Points are higher than your opponent's, this card gains ATK equal to the difference. While your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, this card loses ATK equal to the difference. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon this card.

The effects and pics portray Psychic. But your right about the no quotes for the counters. I need to correct that.

<.<

I see you opened these up again. Don't worry, I'm not going to bother you about anything like last time. I like the second picture more than the first though. Nice find. : )

The second pic definately portrays the Psychic Motif more than the first. I think your a little more right now. Lol.

Loses for ATK and Loses for Effects is different, but they still work. As I recall, it might be new OCG, so I'm not sure.

8.6/10 For both. I like it, but still kind of uncomfortable. <.<

I like how the pics work with each other, everything about the cards seems pretty good but I think that "Genzo" needs a bit more attack. It's a tribute monster so it deserves a 1800 like "Spell Canceler" and since it blocks your effects as well I'd say a 2000 is not out of the question.

I think the ocg needs a bit of work because of the "and loose their effects" part ... but I'm not 100% sure on how to fix it.

I'd give you...

creativity/originality... 2.4/3

balance.................... 2.3/3

ocg...........................2.6/3

pics.......................... 1.5/1 ~extra .5 for the synergy and photoshop work.

total..........................8.8/10 If you fix the ATK or explain its current state to me I'll raise the score to 9/10

fortunately the pictures do compensate

in regards to the effect' date=' I still don't see it much more than a monster version of Skill Drain

8.4/10

[/quote']

Alot people are misunderstanding the strategic value of these cards. When in combination of Skill Drain, they DOUBLE the effects of Skill Drain and this card or vice versa.

You activate Skill Drain and have one of these cards on the field as well, you opponent's Blackwing or Lightsworn or practically most decks will be ruined.

Using Skill Drain and these cards make that overwhelming effect twice as hard to get rid of.

The combo of Skill Drain & these cards can bring back the former glory of old powerful normal monsters like Blue-Eyes White Dragon or really reinforce the effectiveness of an Exodia Deck more than ever.

In addition, Genzo, Master of Power Suppression restores a monster's Type/Effect, something you cannot do with Skill Drain.

SCENARIO:

- Activate SKILL DRAIN

- Summon GENZO

- Its a NORMAL MONSTER DUEL at this point

- You laced your deck with Blue-Eyes and are prepared for a beatstick duel.

_

- Your opponent destroys SKILL DRAIN with magic removal card

- BUT GENZO is still on the field, so the oppoent has not improve his situation

- You successfully protect GENZO from magic removal cards and boosth his ATK so that he can last long in the duel

- YOU frustrate the heck out of your opponent and win a battle of the normals.

SCENARIO

- You have SKILL DRAIN in your hand but can't activate this card because...

- Your opponent has JINZO on the field negating it.

- You summon GENZO (while simulataneously boosting his ATK with an Equip Card) to negate JINZO

- Now you can activate SKILL DRAIN.

- You now have DOUBLE the effects of this card and SKILL DRAIN, making the duel work in your favor once again.
