Ok, I hate the advanced clause! This website should be a place of fun where we can do as we please as long as we follow the basic rules. How many of you have found it difficult to post the four line minimum of this clause? In many Yugioh RP's if you are dueling it is difficult to post more than 1 or 2 lines. So I propose that we join together to return this website to its glory. Have you noticed that less and less people are getting on YCM each day? The RP section used to be the most popular section until the advanced clause took affect. Also there are children on this site who like to RP but can't because it is too hard to post the minimum. Please do not take this the wrong way I am not against mods or Rinne I just think that we should have the choice to post long or short.

No, four sentences is not all that hard. Especially in an RP. Hell, I'm be damn ashamed of myself if I had less than four sentences in a debate, and the same applies here. They aren't stepping over the boundaries at all, merely raising the level of YCM's Role-Playing, which if the Basic RP's had continued would have remained terrible. The Advanced Clause (as suggested by myself and implemented by Umbra a while ago) is both needed and respected.

KINDLY FOCK OFF.

 

Let me dust off my list of irrefutable points, and let you see why you're not getting anywhere.

 

1) The mandatory Advanced Clause will not be revoked, at least for the next month or two. I wanna see whether there's still this much fervor against in after a while. (Also, I've been negged for being indecisive or along those lines with the RP rules, so I don't want to prove that true.)

2) The apprenticeship idea has been suggested widely and there have been no opposors as of yet, so I will see whether I and the other mods can integrate it into the new system.

3) New mods have also been backed, but that is much less likely, due to the fact that it's the admins' decisions. The RP mods can suggest and nominate, but that's it.

4) Finally, the most unlikely but most welcome of them all would be to split the forum in two. Like I said, very improbable.

5) STOP WHINING. (See point 1.)

Do 1 and 5 ring a bell? Yes? No? Good. You're a bit late to the rebellion party, but I can direct you into a nice padded room if you still want to celebrate.

Um, two things.

If you idiots are going to neg anyone about this, you neg me. I was the one who suggested this in the first place, and I an honoured that both Umbra and Rinne agreed with me. The Advanced Clause will remain as long as I have a say in it. With any luck, you people will stop complaining and I'll start RP'ing on this site. Just don't count on it.

The RP section used to be the most popular section until the advanced clause took affect. The RP section was never the most popular section, it was the most posted section. Get it straight.

Also there are children on this site who like to RP but can't because it is too hard to post the minimum. It improves their writing technique and such. We're putting the teachers out of business =D

Please do not take this the wrong way I am not against mods or Rinne I just think that we should have the choice to post long or short. So, if you post something short that hardly has detail, you're not gonna put other people in question of what to do next? And if you post something long that has detail, they will be put on the spot?

Anyway, Don't start this crap untill you've been to a actual Roleplaying site. Most I've been on require around 7-10 sentences. With near-perfect grammar. If you hate it so much, find someplace else to RP or don't make a Yugioh RP. Simple.

 

Keep the regular RP system. It'll make a E-Actor out of you.
