Pixel.
Are you sure you got GIMP brushes and not Photoshop brushes?
-Griffin
Try downloading more brushes. It might be that it was just a matter of chance that the first two were the only compatible ones.
Fenrisúlfr
Google is your friend. But seriously, if you want to know, I would imagine posting this in the Graphic Design section (specifically, Tutorials) would be better.

Läufer
Are you sure you got GIMP brushes and not Photoshop brushes? ^This^ And probably restart your GIMP, because it's probably haven't updated yet.
Fenrisúlfr
I gave you the link to google to answer your question. Now really, I doubt you can get an answer here nearly as fast as you can on some other site devoted to GIMP support. Now, what's the best way to find a site to get that help from? Google.I gave you a piece of constructive advice earlier, you got annoyed and ignored it, good for you.But you can't ask a question, and get annoyed when someone gives you a good answer that requires some effort on your part, namely, clicking a link, and doing a bit of simple searching to find the directions you need. Fenrisúlfr
I checked tutorials, there is a thread to request a tutorial, which is exactly what you're doing.
Fenrisúlfr
For that, I would suggest reporting the bug to the GIMP site, and letting them see what they can do.
