Naimo
Gypsie got off the floor, though she made no noise. She couldn't remember much, but she knew something had happened beforehand, something which had led her to ... here. She had no idea who the other people were, and as she staggered to her feet, an idea struck her. A cool smile crossed her lips, though it disappeared as quickly as it came. She silently unsheathed her dagger and slipped it up her sleeve, ready to draw it out if necessary. Holding her shield in front of her, though not directly over her chest, she approached the group slowly and silently. "Hello," she said calmly, a smile once again upon her lips. "I see we all seem to be..." She paused, taking the time deliberately to glance around her, as if trying to find the correct word to use. "...stuck ... here for some time." She turned her attention to Tyr and Victoria. "What are your names?"
Guest Ixigo
"I'm no one you want to get acquainted with." Victoria sneered at Tyr's question, blade still drawn and battle-ready - however, she did not move. The warrior ignored the panicked Aulin and sniffed at Gypsie's friendly approach. "Does anyone here know anything useful about what happened and where we are, and is that 'anyone' ready to spill it out before I start cutting off limbs?" She demanded, arrogantly glancing at each person in the room.
Naimo
Gypsie just smiled, her eyes widening though so slightly it was almost impossible to see. I see I may have a tricky party on my hand ... this warrior is most certainly very steely. She would be most ... interesting, she thought to herself. "I don't think anyone knows what happened - why, I'm sure if they did, they would not keep it to themselves for that long, would they?" asked Gypsie. She paused. "That is, unless they are a very secretive person ... or they have no habit of opening and shutting their jaw to do anything but eat."
fenrir
((My friend's coming over to hang out. Most likely I'll be inactive for the rest of the day.)) Tyr smirked. "I'd like to see you get past this Halberd." Of course, she couldn't. They were in a small room, one step and he could skewer her. Now, if she managed to dodge the first blow, well, things would be different. Before the arguments or fighting could start, they group was greeted by some corpses. Their moans were quickly heard as they appeared near the opening of the building. "Shit, Dreglings." Unwillingly, Tyr swung his Halberd towards the Dreglings, causing them to back in fright. Tempest Dahlia
Aulin finally managed to stand up slowly, noticing the group of people close to him. They looked dangerous... He might have to make a run for it if the going got tough...... He just noticed something. lf they were standing there the whole time..."Hey!" He said angrily, bending down slowly to pick up his black, thin wand from the ground and looking back up."Just who are you people? And why did you ignore me earlier?""And... What exactly are THOSE things!?" He said, pointing to the corpses.
Naimo
Well well, looks like we have a shirty person on our ... my hands, thought Gypsie as she looked at Aulin out of the corner of her eyes. She then spotted the Dreglings, something which Aulin didn't seem to have done, and her eyes narrowed slightly. Her falchion shot out of the sheath and she dashed over, slashing one which was closer to Aulin, though she made no contact so as to drive it back. She looked over her shoulder slightly. "Are you alright?" she asked.
Guest Ixigo
"Hmpfh." Victoria prepared to attack Tyr, when the arrival of a small army of animated corpses diverted her bloodlust. "They are things that need to be killed." She replied to Aulin, without taking her eyes off her targets. Without further ado, she charged forward, swinging her twin swords in an attempt to behead the two Dreglings closest to her. ===== OoC: Since Barbarians are allowed to dual-wield, I am permitted two blades? Also, how exactly are battles going to work? Can we RP the enemies (within reason), or will you be controlling them?
Tempest Dahlia
Aulin was still as a statue, mortally petrified that the girl's blade had come so close to him."Y-Yeah, i'm alright..." He said, after his skin changed back to it's normal complexion. "... And l wasn't scared or anything!" He said boldly, his eyes resting on her sword..."Hey! Watch where you're pointing that!" He said angrily, stepping backward.
Naimo
Gypsie just smiled, though if one looked carefully enough, it was not a smile of relief but of a quick congratulations on achieving an idea; again, this smile did not linger. "You need not worry about my falchion," she told Aulin as she took one small step back. "I'm very careful with it." She turned her attention back to the Dregling she was dealing with, her eyes set upon it. She swiped it again, further sending it backwards. "It would be awfully fantastic if you could help," she added.
Tempest Dahlia
Aulin looked at everyone, and then at the Dreglings. He was the only one not prepared... Time to show everyone what i'm made of. He had his wand pointed at an approaching Dregling, chanting something under his breath. Sparks of magic escaped the wand, staining the ground beneath him with singes."Brace yourself, Aulin, you can do it... Annnnnd FIRE!!!!"A white bolt of lightning escaped the wand, destroying the Dregling instantly."Whew... See that?" He said trumphantly to the others. Naimo
Gypsie, being used to dodging, had dodged just out of the way in time, her eyes slightly wider, a spark of panic in her eyes. Shoot, he's stronger than I thought. She narrowed her eyes again as she got to her feet. Still, all the better ... he seems to be insensible when it comes to danger, and a little weak minded ... perhaps ... "Good move Aulin!" she managed to say before starting on another Dregling. fenrir
The dead Dreglings fell to the ground. Suddenly, a white mist flew out of them, and into their respective killers. Tyr grunted, they had already claimed Souls. As a few more Dreglings appeared across the opening, much farther away; he prepared himself. Dreglings weren't alone. They never were. As if on cue, a well armed knight appeared within the midst of Dreglings. As if 'beamed' there. His back was to the group. ((Yes, you are aloud to dual wield. Within reason of course. I'm not going to allow people to dual wield axes while having a shield and flachion in reserve. =/ Yes, you guys can control the enemies, as long as it's within reason.)) Tempest Dahlia
"Thanks!" Aulin said, trying to sound modest but failing miserably."But how many of these things are there? And why are they after... us..?"Aulin looked up at the sky, a Dregling about to crush him. He ran out of the way frantically."Err... Oh yeah, you think you can just sneak up on me?" Again, his wand pointed at the creature, but before he could chant anything, the Dregling swiped it out of his hand. lt spiraled across the ground and stopped."Whoa there, l was just kidding earlier, y'know?..." Infinitus
Edward frowned in discomfort. Apparently the entire group was under attack, and Edward was in no mood for fighting. He sprang to his feet with every ounce of his energy, seeing as if he didn't he may be dead. He drew his sword, preparing for battle, and held it in the tight grip of his two, large hands. He held it straight and aimed it directly at the nearest Dregling, or whatever it is they were called. He never cared as to what they were called, seeing as they soon would be dead. He held his blade high above his head, only to send it crashing down through the head and torso of the undead beast before him, for so he thought. The undead monster was just slightly quicker than expected, however, and dodged the powerful blow, and Edward's blade pointed downward. Edward took a long stride forward, and swung his blade in a horizontal direction at the beast's torso.
fenrir
The Dregling facing Edward fell in a heap. It's soul spiraling to the knight. The ones greeted by the other armed knight then began to walk towards the group. Their wooden slave shields and daggers clashing against themselves. The knight in the middle of them turned around, his shield covering his face. He pointed his sword at the group, as if commanding the Dreglings. Guest Ixigo
With a screeching sound, Victoria's left blade sliced through the torso of the Dregling closest to her. Though the walking corpse was not killed, it was incapacitated long enough for the gladiator to cut off another's head with her right-hand sword. Lean and curved, the twin scimitars flashed in the half-light as she danced, dealing damage enough to stop the undead then moving on to the next. Three had been felled already by her swordsmanship - but as she plunged her sword into the fourth's chest, the Dregling grabbed a hold of the blade, preventing her from drawing it back. With a loud tsk Victoria tried to pull it out forcefully, but it proved impossible - and as she struggled, two more approached from the sides, ready to kill her. She parried one of their attacks with her blade, but her right side was completely open...
fenrir
Before the Dregling had a chance to attack, it was impaled from behind. The head of a Halberd exploding from the body of the fiend. Then, the Dregling was pushed forward and off the Halberd. Landing on the floor with the others. Tyr glared at Victoria. As much as he didn't want to assist her, they had to work together. At least for the time being. The knight that was previously covering his head was now approaching the group. It's dark grey armor making a very threatening appearance.
Guest Ixigo
"Don't think I'm going to thank you for this." Victoria sniffed. With her side covered, she struck against the chest of the Dregling with her steel-slated boot, freeing her weapon. This time using both swords, she cut down another Dregling that was approaching, slicing off its head. "Are their numbers even decreasing?" She growled angrily, panting slightly from the exertion. Tempest Dahlia
Aulin dodged a slash from the Dregling, and scurried over to his wand to pick it up. Once again he had it pointed at his enemy."DIE!" He shouted dramatically. White lightning erupted from his wand, surrounding the Dregling from all directions, and finally, closing in."Ugh, these things are starting to get annoying," he said, wiping his brow and looking serious. He looked over to the approaching knight, and hoped he had a solution and was not yet another enemy.
fenrir
((Tempest, your current spells would be Flamethrower and Veil of Water. The later protecting you form fire attacks. ;3)) "Hell would I know." Tyr glanced towards the knight, his Halberd not faltering. The knight slowly brought his shield down; what the group saw was rather horrifying. Instead of a normal face, wisps of blue smoke seemed to evaporate from his eye holes and where his mouth should of been.
Naimo
It was not usual for Gypsie to be attacking like this, but seeing as the Dreglings weren't going to attack, she took advantage. Just as she managed to kill a Dregling, she saw the knight's face and jumped slightly, though she didn't feel too scared; something about it didn't seem to terrify her ... after all, she had seen and done much worse. She immediately sprinted over to where Tyr and Victoria were, her falchion still raised and ready to attack at any moment. "What is that knight suppose to be?" she yelped. Guest Ixigo
"There's one way to find out." Victoria mused. Now that the fighting had come to a temporary standstill, she loosened her stance a little - though both swords were at the ready. Aulin, Gypsie, Tyr, Edward and herself had done a number on the Dreglings, but the new arrival altered the scales. Before anything, they should confirm this strange being's affiliation. "If you can speak, identify yourself!" She shouted in a commanding voice at the approaching knight, while taking a step towards him. The Dreglings seemed more hesitant to engage her than before, which was just as well. Victoria mentally calculated the odds of the new arrival being an unlikely ally against them of him being there to lead their enemies. She did not like her conclusions. fenrir
The only sound that was uttered from the knight was a low moan. With this, several more Dreglings appeared nearby. The knight was now surrounded by them. It made no movement, other than point his sword towards the group. Tyr gulped. He knew what this was. "He's a Blue Eye Knight. I've heard about these. They're... Strong."
Tempest Dahlia
Aulin aimed his wand at the newcomer, a serious expression on his face. He remained still and silent: He didn't want to invoke hostility. This... Thing didn't seem to mind having them for dinner... He chased the thought from his mind. Aulin turned to Tyr. "A what?" Naimo
Gypsie halted slightly, her head tilted to her right. Her eyes were slightly wider, and she was looking at Victoria through the corner of her eyes. Gypsie knew she was trying to communicate with the Knight, see if it was a foe. Gypsie suddenly narrowed her eyes, and a sly smile crossed her lips, though disappearing seconds later. She raised her buckler slightly as she straightened up and, gripping her falchion tighter, took a slightly more hesitant step forward, showing no sign of reaction to Tyr's words.
