"Then we've got to put him down. It's pointless to attack the corpses, it seems - but if we strike him dead, then maybe we'll get somewhere."

Victoria pulled herself into a half-crouching stance, blades held in front of her.

"You there, with that big halberd. If you can keep him busy for a few seconds, me and the grin-girl can take his limbs. We'll see how well he can fight without his arms - if you're up to it, that is." Evidently, excluding herself, of the entire group Victoria evaluated the combat ability of Tyr and Gypsie the highest.

"You are quite the nasty figure, are you not?" asked Gypsie rather sweetly. "But of course, I presume to have such ... leadership qualities, you do need to go on the nasty side." She paused. "For your information, my name is Gypsie, and I do agree with your plan." She looked at Tyr and Aulin, then at the Knight again, paying particular attention to its arms. "Now it just depends if our halberd-wielding man agrees or not."

Edward's eyes widened, reflecting his great fear. He had only one thought Oh bloody hell. He knew all too well exactly what the knight was, and it was a Blue Eye Knight. He was almost killed by one once, and luckily got away with his head not decapitated, like the man who happened to be with him. He had noticed that a group of warriors that were also there were formulating a plan, and Edward began to calm himself down, in the hopes that perhaps they still had hope.

He listened a little more to their plan with curiosity and interest, seeing as any plan right now would be helpful, rather than just running in and start swinging weapons. Edward replied "Well, whoever is going to distract that knight, it won't be me." Edward now figured he established that Edward was not a good person, hopefully making sure socializing with him was out of the question. After years of people hating him, he began to not care, and enjoyed not being talked to.

Tyr grunted in approval. Engaging in a short duel with the knight couldn't be too hard. "Alright, let's go." With that, Tyr exited the building through the opening. As the knight spotted him, it raised it's shield and charged. Naturally, Tyr brought his shield forward, and the two crashed. Recovering from the crash, Tyr moved his shield a bit to the left so he could swing. The knight took advantage of this, and stabbed first.

"Haa!" Victoria screamed. In the time it had taken for Tyr to close the gap, the much more lightly armored female had already positioned herself. As the blue-eyed knight attempted to strike Tyr, she brought her blade down, in a swift motion aimed to cut off his sword arm - hoping that the girl who called herself Gypsie had managed to follow up. As soon as they could remove his limbs, the mysterious figure would not be a threat to anyone.

Gypsie moved at the same time as Victoria; she had dashed forward, leaping into the air and swung her falchion downwards, bringing it parallel to the joint which held arm and shoulder together. She was aware Victoria had already attempted to cut the other arm off; Gypsie only hoped it would work...

In a flash, the knight was dismembered. There was no blood; his arms simply crashed down as the armor had been pierced. Taking the advantage, Tyr stepped forward and stabbed through the knight's chest plate. It's blue eyes and mouth disappeared, and the body armor fell in a heap. A blue mist evaporated and seemingly collected towards Tyr, disappearing.

"What was that?" was the first words to escape Gypsie's mouth as she retreated back to Tyr's side. She had a funny feeling in her, her eyes fixed on the heap of armour. She expected it to leap out at her, but then remembered that the knight was dead; unless the armour had a mind of its own, it seemed they had little to deal with, save for the remaining Dreglings.

"It's soul." Tyr answered. Apparently, every killed enemy would lose it's soul, to the killer. Odd, Tyr didn't feel anything different. In fact, he felt normal. "Well, let's head on." He attached his shield to his back once again. He was stronger when two handed. If anything, he would pull his shield out when attacked.

"Yes, why not?" agreed Gypsie as she too sheathed her falchion. She kept her buckler on; although she was good at dodging, she always had her shield with her just in case. She glanced around at the others, as if waiting for something to happen. Then she turned her attention back to Tyr, and asked him, "Where to?" She couldn't see any form of adjoining tunnels or indeed an exit, which only made her more curious. Hmmm, this is an interesting group ... one that I think would be quite fun to watch once I've planted all my traps, she thought to herself as she asked.

Shrugging, Victoria sheathed both her swords. It was at least apparent that no human in the room harbored any intention to start a fight, and Victoria was satisfied with the battle against the Dreglings and the strange knight.

"The name's Victoria." She introduced herself for the first time. Without another word, she walked towards the nearest wall, examining it for any sign of exit.

Edward rolled his eyes sullenly as he heard everyone give their obvious and overdone introductions. Edward knew that none of them would ever want to meet him, so he decided to keep his mouth shut and follow. His armor clanged like metal lightly tapping metal as he walked, because it was metal lightly tapping metal. He searched left and right for an exit, and with each turn of the head that did not see a way out, he felt like a small part of his soul died inside. He just wanted to get out, and ignore whatever happened here. Randomly being warped by a strange light into a house of demons with no way out is not exactly my idea of the vacation I've been waiting for..

With the others attentions diverted, Tyr turned his focus to the wall in front of them. The gardens they were in was an obvious home to hell, so it was better if they moved onward. Yet there was no opening. Feeling the wall with one of his hands, Tyr grunted. There was a weak spot. Backing up, he pointed his Halberd towards it.

Bam!

The wall caved in on itself, showing a rather large opening. Tyr, coughed once. Then turned to the others. "It's opened." He was about a foot away from the opening.

Edward was quite satisfied that they were finally getting out of the garden house. Now he could go home, take off his armor and relax on his bed, perhaps enjoy a play. Edward, however, had a strange feeling. A suspicion, a hunch, a wild guess, that something about that exit meant that something else was going to happen other than go home. Edward really didn't care, and would take any risk at getting out of a house full of demons. Edward was a capable warrior of holding his own in dangerous situations, but no man can fight forever, and Edward ceraintly didn't intend to.

Gypsie's eyes darted to the opening as she turned around sharply, her armour clanging as she did so. Hmmmm ... looks like we've got a foolish magician, a rather surly warrior, an intelligent halberd-wielding man, and a warrior who seems to keep himself to himself, she thought as she silently strode over to the entrance. She passed Tyr wordlessly and peered beyond the entrance. She paused, then turned around. "We might as well." She pointed over her shoulder with her thumb. Without waiting, she spun round, her ponytail flying round after her as she did so, and disappeared through the opening.

Stepping in after Gypsie, Tyr's much heavier armor clanged against his shield. Which wasn't fully attached. They were in a short hallway. It seemed to be similar to the hallway of a castle, only smaller. At best, they would have to walk single file. At the left end of the hallway, there was something... Odd. A small medium sized stone rested at the end of the hallway. And in it, was a sword. It was one-handed, and the hilt was a pure black. On top of that was an odd circular figure. What was even stranger, was that the sword struck him as a cross.

Wordlessly, Victoria strode over to the rest of the group, passing through the opening created by Tyr's halberd. She pushed herself in between the others without a word of apology, right after Gypsie and Tyr through the narrow corridor.

"Huh? A sword?" She muttered, trying to discern the details in the half-light. Without hesitation, she walked towards it, her own blades once again drawn and at the ready. There seemed to be something above the black-hilted blade that was sheathed in that strange stone, and she did not intend to get killed by it.

Gypsie saw the sword, and turned round. She saw Tyr approaching her, and was about to talk when Victoria walked straight past them. At that moment, she changed her mind and also approached the sword, leaving Tyr behind again. Her eyes, like Victoria, darted to the hidden thing over the hilt. It was only upon a closer look did she mutter, "It looks like a cross..." She looked up and turned around slightly so she was directly facing Victoria and Tyr. "Something's up with this sword."

"Yeah I kn-" Before Tyr could finish, the spike tip of a spear has pierced through his chest. Without warning, his body was lift up and thrown back. His killer? Another knight. Only this one had red, fearsome eyes. Raises it's shield, it backed up about 2-3 feet, and charged again. It seemed to be the end, Tyr was dead, his body by the opening, and a Red-Eyed knight charging at the other two with no sign of an opening.

"Woah!" bellowed Gypsie as she threw herself to the right just in time. She winced as she accidently banged her head against the wall, though it was a light hit. She immediately pulled her falchion out as she staggered upright. Right now, it was herself for herself; she knew Victoria was capable, and Gypsie scrambled backwards slightly. Her eyes even narrower - due to a sudden idea that struck her - she took the care to make sure she didn't leave the Knight's radius. She bellowed to Victoria, "How do you think we should beat this?"

" - !!" Victoria had little warning as Tyr was impaled, cast aside like a ragtag puppet. With surprise she noted the arrival of another knight similar to the first - only they had not heard or seen him approach at all! And what was worse, he was now charging straight at her, poised to destroy her.

Positioning herself between him and what was left of the halberd-wielding man - maybe there was still some life in him - Victoria raised her swords. She knew she could not hope to avoid this attack in this constricted space, so she crouched low, forcing the enemy to lower the trajectory of his weapon. At the same time she crossed her blades and parried the spear's edge between them. The knight was insanely strong, yet Victoria managed, if barely, to redirect the spear's course to above her shoulder. Though the weapon still cut a deep wound into Victoria's flesh, she ground her teeth and stood her ground. Of course, she could not do anything in that stance, and she would be killed once the knight withdrew his weapon. However, she seemed to have a halfway-competent ally to rely on in this circumstance.

"We stab him, that's how!" She growled at Gypsie, hoping that the fool girl would grab the chance and slay their foe from behind - before he could kill them all.

Luckily, the two had a shimmer of hope. As the knight charged once more, the two women braced themselves for impact. As the knight charged, it tripped. As it tripped, it stumbled low to the group, crashing against the side of the wall. Another opening was quickly created, and the knight fell. Under the opening, a small moat flowed. Showing that they were in one of this castle's 'walls'. Now, what could of tripped the knight? Tyr dragged his bloody body up. Sighing as he sat against the wall opposite to the opening. The stab wound was opened, yet he held something to it.

He shut his eyes for a moment, and this item he held to his chest shone brightly.

"Right you are!" she shouted back as she gripped her falchion tightly. Seeing as she had a chance, she dashed forwards and thrust her blade at the Knight's back, hoping to pierce his armour. Secretly, she had a satisfied feeling seeing Victoria stabbed like this - after all, their pain was her pleasure. By now, she had cast her mind completely off Tyr - she merely decided she would search him for anything valuable later. But for now, she concentrated on the Knight, for she too would be in trouble otherwise. However, her falchion ended up swiping empty air as the Knight crashed into the moat below. She stopped, almost tumbling in herself, and recovered herself by taking a big step back. She heard movement behind her, and she spun round; her heart dropped to see Tyr, still alive, and she began to curse in her mind. Why don't people ever die when you want them to die?? She quickly shuffled over to Tyr, sheathing her falchion as she did so. No matter how much she wanted him dead, he wasn't yet, and she had to keep up her nice face as much as possible. "Are you alright Tyr?" she asked, putting on a concerned voice.
