too many new and obscure cards.

playbook plz.

timeater+long nose=turn skip

using level eater as the continuous tribute fodder for long nose by reducing long noses lv by one each turn after summoning it

and using just about everything else to get out timeater

black garden generates at least 2 tokens each turn i summon long nose

thunder of ruler helps get the lock out earlier

lock is left open to quickplays like mist(which is probly the only commonly ran one that'll effect it) so i run prohibition and invader to counter that problem

... mist = mst? yes' date=' the i was a typo[/b']

invader seems like a really obscure tech.

thunder over roar? roar can also be activated standby.... or whenever. as can waboku, really. thunder is just limited. unless i'm missing something.

question, does this lock also negate mainphase 2?

since both long nose and thunder provents them from entering the battle phase at all, yes (which should anser the question bout thunder)

since the lock only allows my opponent to enter their draw, standby, and end phase my opponent can still use quickplays but once invader hits the field even thats out the window

invader could still be moved to the side deck though.

i think the only quickplay you need be afraid of is mst. and that shouldnt be too much of a problem if youre running 3 copies of the garden and some terraforming. so invader is probably unnecessary.

what benefit does thunder have over roar though?

technically with roar, they can still enter their battle phase, but does that really matter if they still cant attack?

Due to a ruling, they can enter their Main Phase 2 if they get their Battle Phase. (I think...)

burnpsy got it

thunder acts as a temporary substitute for great long nose so i wont have to worrie bout being left open when i start getting the lock together(as in the case i end up normal summoning timeater)

as for invader, i've been thinking the same thing but i just wanted to a bit more testing and find out what other people think of him...

what you think i should neg him for?

Edit: i'll swap him out for d.d. crow
