Eury
http://www.11alive.com/news/news_story.aspx?storyid=139183&catid=40 Yeah...they pass this and I'm not going to school anymore. Of course, this only applies to people in Georgia but whatever. Discuss this and guns themselves.

Umbra
As long as the guns are concealed, it's okay? Doesn't make sense whatsoever.
Brushfire
As long as the guns are concealed' date=' it's okay? Doesn't make sense whatsoever.[/quote'] Oh 'cause you see you can't be shot when they're concealed, they have to get them out to shoot you so it makes perfect sense! Right, yeah. I've always thought the US/Canada were stupid for allowing guns in their states, and I'll be having to add Georgia to the list while I'm at it. Dark Mousy
I thought guns were illegal in Canada, guess I was wrong. You can get guns with a license, but you also have to get a license for ammo. The legal fees involving that is like stupid money.

Tempest Dahlia
Didn't T.I. get arrested? ln Georgia? And wasn't all those weapons 'concealed'? This is a contradictory law, and it's utterly fucking retarded. It's been proven that GUNS PROMOTE VIOLENCE. >_>
galesonic
T.I. bought the guns illegally in the first place. Concealing weapons leagally bought is considered okay (which I don't get). However, since he was concealing illegal weapons, he gets a larger sentence because of it. @Tempest: Depends on who's weilding the gun in the first place. TAG
The problem is that these people are under the assumption that as long as someone thinks that someone else could be wielding a gun, they won't take their chances. What they fail to realize is: Driver #1: Hey, move your ****ing car!Driver #2: No! I can keep my car here if I want to!Driver #1: Oh yeah? *gunshot* *gunshot*Driver #2: lolol my brains are all over the place lololol

Mindscatter
Simple logic: if guns were not allowed, people wouldn't need guns to protect themselves from...guns! At least, when you use knives, it is impossible to produce collateral damage.
fenrir
xD Those southerners are some phucked up people. I won't take offense to that. Not true.Really, you ban guns, nothing happens other to the people who use guns to hurt people. They'll still have their guns, and get around the ban, the only people who won't have guns are those who want to protect themselves.I believe that the second amendment should be respected, but I have to say, making concealed weapons legal defeats the purpose of a gun. If you're carrying a gun, it's only likely to be a deterrent if people know you have the gun in the first place. With a concealed weapon, that can't happen.
