Phoenix hadn't even heard the question, he was lost in his thoughts about Quidditch related issues, mainly booking the Quidditch field for try outs and informing his house about it. These were not major issues at all, but they took up all of his concentration at the moment. Well, those and the ones regarding that missing girl, Henrietta. He wondered how someone could disappear so mysteriously at the school, the teachers would surely know all the places someone might get lost or be hidden, wouldn't they?

"I'm afraid that you are mistaken mister Mcfiggleberry, if you have been paying a bit more attention you would have realized that this is actually qualified as a Erkling. A incredibly dangerous creature that has a taste for children like you! I'm planning on realeasing it now, if things become out of control I will destroy it myself, however it would still get a few good nips at you before I do." He then slowly but steadily opened the door to the wardrobe, the Erkling resembled a sort of gruesome houself and immeadiatly jumped towards Alexander with his jaws outstreched.

He was pulled out of his thoughts as he saw something jump out from the wardrobe and towards one of the students. He was surprised that the teacher would let something loose like that before teaching them how to defend themselves against it first. He placed his hand on his wand, so he could draw it quickly If attacked.

"Stupefy!" Alexander said pointing his wand at it drawing the wand fast. The Erkling fell on the ground twitching. "Hmmm, never heard of those, not a native from where I'm from, I guess." Alexander said scratching his head thinking about that thing. "Hmmmm well if they're dangerous I guess that is up-to-date with what we should be doing." Alexander sighed. He was looking back at Phoenix, another Quidditch player I remember him. Alexander thought. "I still wonder if the job is cursed." Alexander mumbled to himself.

"Anyways these bunch of Erklings haven't been fed in a while and your gonna need tough reflexes to protect yourself, these things are quite fast." At that moment a Erkling shot out of the wardrobe and began biting at Alexanders face hungrily. "Now think fast everyone if you don't want to become a meal for these creatures. Peppergum! Crabbeson! Jackson!" the moment he yelled the names he opened the wardrobe and a Erkling shot out at the person attempting to nip at their feet. The black dog was watching if a Erkling got too close to biting the person he would tackle one.

Acacia just sat by the window, watching them. She soon recognised Phoenix to be the Captain of the Ravenclaw team, and Alexander as one of the opposing Beaters of the Ravenclaw team. She soon turned her attention back to Professor Stockling, yet her mind wandered slightly. So, she was having classes with two Quidditch players, both of which were on the same opposing team. This will be interesting ... if one of them is ill, I'd know about it straight away ... it will definately give Gryffindor a good chance... she thought.

Acacia started at the mention of her surname, and when she realised an Erkling was approaching, her hair immediately changed into a bright tomato-red shade - not that she could help it, her emotions sometimes triggered her Metamorphugus powers - as she pulled out her wand. The Erkling was getting closer, and in that moment she yelled, "Protego!" A faint shield surrounded her, and she watched the Erkling fly straight into it. It merely flew backwards, clearly wondering how to break the shield. At once Acacia's eyes narrowed, and she pointed at the creature again. "Stupefy!" She watched as the jet hit the creature straight in its chest, and it collapsed onto the floor. Relieved, her hair changed back into its usual silvery shade.

As the student looked back at him he recognized him as Alexander. They were in the same year, same house and he knew that he was on the quidditch team as well. What position he was on, he didnt remember. But he didnt get why he didnt act when that.. Thing, was jumping towards him. He drew his wand, guessing that he hadnt seen it or something, and pointed it towards whatever it was. 'bombarda!' he yelled, blowing up the table to get the creature to focused on something else than nomming on alexander.

"Good job Peppergum! Five points for Gryphindor for the splendid Stunning Spell and Protego combination." He then turned to see a table completely explode, he stared at the one who had used the Bombarda and said "Wethstorm! What do you think your doing? This is a classroom and you are disrupting my lessons." Meanwhile Dewlap tackled the Erkling attacking Alexander while Stockling still looked extremely upset "How am I going to test their reflexes when you smash the things for them! Five points from Ravenclaw for that! Also for that dreadful preformance MCFiggleberry another Five points for that."

"These things deserve to die, freaky creatures." Alexander said throwing one. "No need for a wand when you can stomp." Alexander said throwing them away. "Stupefy, Stupefy and Stupefy!" Alexander yelled at the Erklings. "Are you crazy!" Alexander yelled at the Professor. "Just gonna let them attack students?" Alexander continued. "Back in Finland the teachers couldn't even bother let those things even get half a foot away!" Alexander continued.

"Well Toto, I guess we're not in Finland anymore! You asked for a challenge I gave it to you, in my days of a Auror we had to face much more then these damn elves with teeth. Anyways I think that should do it for the attacks, now lets sweep these things up" he said as he picked up the limp bodies of Erklings and tossed them back into the wardrobe and locked the door tight. "Now I suppose you deserve the ten points back for defeating them mister McFiggleberry but a array of Stunners won't take down what else I got planned for this class."

'im sorry professor, i had intended to hit the erkling but i didnt want to hurt alexander' phoenix excused himself and sat down, being a bit enbarrassed that he had caused them to lose 5 points. He glared at one of the stupified erklings and wished that he had thought more rationally and turned them into kittens or something.

Acacia straightened up immediately at the Professor's last words, her hair changing into that shade of red again. What did he mean by "what else I got planned"? A sudden vision of Chinese Fireballs came into her mind, and them having to fight it off ... she immediately blinked. No, she was being stupid - even a teacher could tell fighting dragons was going too far. She sat back slightly, and waited patiently for what was going to happen next, though her hair remained red.

"Alright here's the last part of our class, I want you guys to each get a partner, you and your partner will attempt to recreate what you did to the Erkling and the other will have to counter it, understand?" The Proffesor felt exceedingly wonderful, he was helping he wizarding community by setting these people straight to become proper Aurors and such. "Anyways, McFiggleberry your with Ms. Peppergum, Mr. Wethstorm your with me I would like to see first hand your magicial skill, the rest of you people group up as you wish."

Acacia felt her shoulders relax and her hair change back to its normal shade again. She moved over to Alexander, her wand in hand, and smiled at him. Even though they could consider each other foes, she felt it was good to have allies in other houses ... not to mention she would be spending the next two years in the same classes as him. "So, do you want to cast the spell?" she asked, though she did feel a small bead of sweat roll down the back of her neck, and she became aware of how straight her hair had become; having just seen him act rather brutal, she didn't fancy getting beaten over the head by a wand.

He blushed as he heard that he was paired with the teacher. He swallowed a little and stood up in front of him, drawing his wand. He was up against an ex-auror, how could he possibly even compete with that? He swallowed a little and smiled up at his teacher, 'i promise not to use bombarda on you' he said laughing a little. He straightened up a little and then got serious Suddenly drawing his wand and pointing it at the professors own wand, turning it into a shoelace. 'try casting spells with that' he said, smiling triumphantly but not letting his guard down, he knew that the professor probably would have a trick or two up his sleeve.

Proffesor Stockling grinned as the magic was surrounding his wand but nothing was happening "Sorry kid, metal conductor, not gonna transfigure that with that toothpick of a wand." He then looked coldly at the boy and said "Reducto", suddenly the boy's wand began to shrink a large rate to the size of a toothpick. He then thought a Non-Verbal Spell dangling Wethstorm by his ankle and he laughed a bit. "You got guts kid, I'll give ya that but your no match for someone like me eh?" he said while flicking his wand side to side amusingly spinning the boy around.

He yelped as he was hung upsidedown and swung around. 'engorgio' he mumbled, increasing the size of his wand back to normal. 'youre not the only one familiar with that charm professor' he said, getting a bit flushed from being upsidedown. 'levicorpus!' he exclaimed, pointing his wand at his teacher.

"The whole point of Non-Verbal Spells is to not let the opponent know what hit 'em" Stockling said, lazily swishing his wand to cancel out the spell. "If your going to speak at least use a real spell like this, Silencio!" he said blasting the spell right at Pheonix taking a little laugh as he did it. "Now no more spells unless you keep your lips shut and your mind open go it!" He said then going back to his serious tone and finally noticed his own eye was yellow with a cat-like pupil.

He managed to grunt a little before the silence spell was placed on him. He frowned a little and pointed his wand at his teachers arm. 'expelliarmus' he thought concentraiting hard. Nonverbal spells were better, yes, but they were a lot harder to use that was why he hadnt used then earlier.

"I don't care you can cast the spell." Alexander said lowly looking around. Alexander was thinking about Quidditch this year and what the season would be like, needing to win a cup was a thing Alexander, the people at Finland weren't the best at Quidditch. "Oh okay so I guess we start the re-creation of what you did and I will be the target." Alexander sighed, he didn't like this idea.

"Very well." Acacia backed off slightly, so as to give herself space. She held her head higher, she straightened her posture, and she gripped onto her wand tightly, raising it in front of her. She looked more like she was about to do fencing than cast spells. She cleared her throat slightly, and a pregnant pause lingered in the air. Then, quite suddenly, Acacia cried, "Stupefy!" and a jet of red shot out of the end of her wand, going squarely for Alexander's collarbone.

"Hmmph, not bad kid not bad at all" Proffesor Stockling said as his metallic wand scrambled about a foot away from him. "Alright, I think that is all the time we have today children!" Stockling said as he looked at his pocket-watch that he always kept on hand. "Go to your next class now children, or the Headmaster will have my blood." He said jokingly as his large black dog opened the door for several bunches of students to go galloping out as Stockling picked up his wand and placed it in a sheath. While taking a grin and the scrambling children.

Alexander was slightly phased by Stupefy. "Ugh, next class alright!" Alexander laughed and ran outside the classroom. "Hey Phoenix!" Alexander tried to talk to Phienix but the Stupefy was still wearing off "that was dodgy Stupefy." Alexander sighed, then he caught up with Phoenix. "Lets talk Quidditch or something." Alexander laughed looking around trying to walk a little bit faster then all the other students.

As the wand was shot out of professor stocklings hand the levicorpus charm lifted and phoenix fell to the ground. He smiled a little as the professor praised him and got up from the floor, brushing his uniform off from dust. He didnt have class until after lunch so this gave him an opportunity to tend to his quidditch related issues. He had decided to hold the try outs this saturday, If the fields were free of course.

As he was caught up in his own mind he didnt hear what alexander had said and walked on without saying anything, humming every now and then.

Acacia grabbed her bags and followed Alexander out. She tried to leave them alone, though she was walking at a similar pace to Alexander. Deciding she might as well, she said to them, "Hey, that was a good lesson wasn't it?" Without waiting for an answer, she continued. "Without meaning to insert any rivalry, I'm Acacia Peppergum, one of the Beaters for the Gryffindor team." She smiled at them, and waited for any response.
