Snitch
Okay, so throughout this thread I will be, you could say, 'blogging' my journey to completing my first piece of kinetic typography. After watching a few on Youtube, I cared to make my own, and the sound file I am using - which will probably be recognised by many - is the second clip (starting from the image of the house) from this video here. The programs I will be using are Notepad, to transcript the sound, Adobe Illustrator to fix up the transcript, make it into layers and define a shape of the finished product, and then Adobe After Effects to animate it and add some finishing touches. So, I started, obviously, by scripting the sound from the clip I was using in Notepad. This was quite simple, and once I was done, I cut it and put it into a new document on Adobe Illustrator, where I went through the time consuming process of making every word a separate layer. This totalled in 153 layers if you were wondering, which means 153 layers of animation. @___@ So, once I'd finished that, I began to put the words into some sort of shaping for animation, the start of which can be seen in the spoiler below. I would like comments on how I'm doing as I go along, and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to give them. =3 [spoiler=Currently At...]
