[spoiler=Bio:] Rex is a relative of Vega Obscura, the original pilot of the Berserk Fury. He enjoys tinkering with Zoid parts, and even built the Fury's three CAS's based on old Zenebas(What the "Z" in "Berserk Fury Z" stands for) Empire blueprints. Rex loves a good battle. He gets along great with the Fury.

 

How you came about the Zoid: While searching some ruins one day, Rex accidentally activated a sleeping Berserk Fury.

Personality:Usually happy-go-lucky, but has a short temper, and an even shorter fuse.

Zoid Personality(if it has one):Similar to that of Vega's. Stubborn, with a major grudge against Liger Zero type Zoids. The Fury only listen to Rex and, probably just like the animal it was based on, is very territorial.

Berserk stands idly as it watches closely at the Liger on the field, it may not be the same one, but the sight of the Liger-species itself annoyed it. "Calm down Berserk, soon enough we'll get to play, and then maybe we'll even find your friend..."

But if we're going by anime appearance, then I'll comply and use Spino Sapper and Geno Breaker)

[spoiler=Bio:]Alexis was always fond of Zoids as a young girl, and she had always dreamed of becoming a Zoid pilot. That dream came true when she met the Geno Breaker. Soon after that, she joined the Cretaceous Team.

 

How you came about the Zoid:The Geno Breaker Jet was actually a wild Zoid, wandering the wastelands of Zi. Alexis had a run in with the Zoid and quickly bonded with it.

Personality: Alexis is kind and caring. She's the only member of the team that always keeps a level head. She takes her time to aim, and barely misses. The complete opposite of Leena.

Zoid Personality(if it has one):Gentle or ferocious, depends who you're asking. The Geno Breaker Jet is gentle towards its teammates(although it sometimes gets into skirmishes with Rex's Berserk Fury), but is a ferocious adversary.

[spoiler=Bio:] Having grown up in a town filled with aerial Zoids, Zack quickly learned the joys of piloting flying Zoids. He is a literal "aerial ace" when it comes to Zoid battles. Zack was the one who suggested the name "Cretaceous Team", realizing that the three Zoids on the team were based off of animals from the Cretaceous Period(Tyrannosaurus and Pteranodon)

How you came about the Zoid: Zack's father actually found the Triple S asleep in the wreck of the Ultrasaurus that served as the finish line for the Royal Cup. After the Zoid was refurbished and reactivated, it chose Zack as its plot.

Personality:Zack is the trigger happy member of the team, which often times defeats the purpose of the Triple S's stealth capabilities. He's a bonehead and can be impulsive.

Zoid Personality(if it has one):Probably the most docile Zoid on the team, the Triple S often keeps a distance away from Rex's Fury and Alexis' Breaker when they have their skirmishes.

Rex hit the switch on Fury's Ion Boosters. The Berserk Fury Z accelerated to speeds of over 660 kph. "Looking good Fury, now, let's try the Charged Particle system." Rex said after a few minutes, turning off the boosters. The Berserk Fury Z turned towards a canyon wall and its four anchors deployed. Several flaps on its ail deployed and it opened its mouth, revealing a small barrel. The Charged Particle intakes whirred to life and a ball of energy started forming at the tip of the barrel. "Alright, looks like it works, you can stop now." Rex said. The intakes powered down and the ball of energy disappeared. The flaps on the Zoid's tail closed and the anchors were stowed as the barrel retracted back into the Fury's "throat". The Tyrannosaurus Zoid let out a loud roar. "Well, this new CAS seems to work great!" Rex laughed, "I'm a freaking genius!"

A command system freeze showed up on the Blade Liger's screen, showing it was out of the battle. The same message showed up on the Cannon Tortoises as well. Obviously both had taken a major damage shot or lost an important piece of equipment. Regardless they both were out and their teamates were still in combat. The Storm Sworder took a hit its wing, damaging it, but not enough for a system freeze. Even the best pilot would know they had to land soon in order to stay in the fight. However the Iron Kong was just injured and still had a good deal of mobility which the Snipe Master had lost, but was still in the fight. The Lightning Saix also took a good deal of damage, but it also could fight.

 

 

People all in the shops cheered, booed and cursed about the fight. It obviously was one to have bet on. However the battle was not over and the winner has not yet been decided.

 

"Wow what a good show, eh Sven," Ursual proclaimed. Sven nodded in agreement before saying, "Yeah, I figured Team Sure Shot would have been beaten by the overwhelming power of those 3 Zoids, seems I was wrong." Wesly came back up from the maintence deck, sweaty and dirty. "So hows the match?" he asked whiping dirt from his body. "See for yourself Wesly," Sven stated.

joeys snipe master was moving pretty slowly and vence was out of the fight.

if this keeps up i might have to use my last resort. dang i was careless and let my aim go out the window.

"nick listen up we only have a few shots left each and i dont want them wasted. we are gonna take out the saix and storm swoder got me!" joey look at his thermal sensors to find the swoarder. he could see it and it was losing alot of its speed due to the hit to its wing.

ok all i have to do is take out the other wing and that flying menence is down. as for our saix friend he is losing speed as well. this could work out well for me hopefully i wont have to use my two special bullits.

The Berserk Fury Z walked into the Whale King's CAS hangar. "Alright," Rex said, "Berserk Fury Zenebas, eject!" Robotic arms came out from panels on the walls and removed the sleek red armor. "I see you're back from your test run." Alexis' voice came over the comm. "I suppose you want to initiate the installation of the Basic Fury armor." She said. "Got that right." Rex said. Alexis pressed a button on the Whale King's console, and the panels holding the Fury's CASs rotated so that the Basic armor was ready to be reinstalled. The panel opened to reveal an off-white/grey armor system. The robotic arms placed the armor on the fury. "Alright then, Berserk Fury CAS complete." Lex said. The door into the Whale King's main hangar opened. Alexis' Geno Breaker Jet, Zack's Storm Sworder Stealth, and the team's spare Zoid, the plesiosaur type Dark Nessios, all sat in the hangar. Rex piloted the Fury into an empty spot in the hangar and opened the canopy, hopping out onto the catwalk that led to the main areas of the Whale King. The Fury's canopy closed and the Zoid growled.

"I'm In position" Nick said. He came in and started sending off a barrage of Missiles, In an attept to protect joey. The Lightining Saix and Storm Sworded wern't fast enought to dodge the attacks and took the full brunt of the missiles. He looked back at Joey who was getting in position for the final shot.

 

"Joey, how long do you need?!" Nick yelled, doing his best do fight of the Saix.

 

"Almost ready, Just a bit longer." Joey said.

Mai was knocked of her flight path by the missiles and was forced to land. Thankfully, her sheild took most of the force out of the attack. Her Sworder landed a bit ackwardly. A quick test told her that her left wing was too damaged to regain flight. Grounded though she was, she was far from defenceless. She turned the zoid and angled her wings. They may not give flight, but her blades were still sharp.

Since her targets were over a mile away, she took the ranged option. Four sword missiles burst from their bays, crashing into the Iron kong. Her beam cannons let of a few rounds at the sniper and she added two shots from her LR cannons.

 

Nina weaved the Saix through the missle fire. Dispite her best efforts, she still took damage, one of the pulse laser barrels offline. She dashed away form Mai, and took potshots at the Iron Kong with her working barrel, her aim a bit of because of the damage, but a few shots hitting their mark.

"nick i got it there done for!" joeys snipe master turned around in its firing position. the storm sorter and the lightning saix we're both lined up for the final attack.

"lets go snipe pulse energy bullit. the tip of the snipe matser barral glowed with energy then fire a large undogble bullit that ripped through both the saxi and sorter. as soon as the shot left his snipe master the systems freeze icon poped up on joeys screen.

"im out nick but so are our foes. that bullit is undodgeble no matter what you do. hey to our fun little opponets just a warning for next time DONT MESS WITH TEAM SURE SHOT!!!"

"Boo yah." Nick yelled, overjoyed with the thought of getting payed. "Don't mess with team Sure Shot, got that."

 

Nick loaded onto the hover cargo and picked up his allies, but for some reason Max wasn't there. "Hmmm. . . Maybe he went out for a walk or something." He shook it off and went down to the zoids bay.

 

"Ya'll's zoids goin' to be alright." Nick said. Vance and Joey both nodded and returned to their repairs. Nick did the same and started work on His Kong.

"oh nick i forgot to tell ya your not getting payed ."joey looked at nick who was very angry. "sorry buddy but you trashed my gustive so im taking your pay this time." joey laughed as he went back to work on his snipe masters leg. vence joined in with him as nick swore angerly.

Rex walked into the Whale King's control room. Zack was leaning against one of the walls. Alexis was standing by the control panel. "So it's time for me and the Breaker's test run I guess." She said, noticing Rex come in. Rex nodded, "If you want." he said. "Alright then." She said, leaving for the hangar. Rex took the controls. He pressed a button and the Whale King's mouth opened. A catapult similar to that of a Hover Cargo's slid forward and two pistons grounded it to the Zoids bottom jaw.* Rex waited for the Geno Breaker to be ready for launch.

 

(OOC:*=since I loved the Hover Cargo's launch system better, I decided to incorporate something similar into the Whale King, instead of just using the lower jaw as a ramp or having a platform drop down. So it's a custom Whale King. Just wanted to explain that.)

The bullet hurdled over tha battle field at tremendous speed. Damaged as they were, neither Mai or Nina could dodge the bullets and their zoids soon displayed system freeze on the screens.

Taiga sighed back in the hover cargo. He had the spare parts to fix all the zoids up easily, but the damage blade liger to would require atleast two days of self repair before he would be back at full capacity. He still wasn't too upset, though. Not when konig wolf was still waiting to fight.

"The winner is...Team Sure Shot. Congradulations team. The money will be deposited into your account.[$4000]" the judge said. Cheers and awws would be seen and heard in any place that had the match on the television.

 

"That was sure an upset. Wouldn't you say guys," Wesly stated as he finished wiping his hands clean. "Yeap it sure was. Too bad though. Now we have some competition. Ursula you got all the data on the match correct?" Sven said and asked. Ursula nodded as she brought it up on the screen and Sven looked it over. "Good, now prepare a strategy for them after we go over our plan of attack for Team DIE," Sven said. "Alright," she said as she brought up the battle plans for Team DIE.

 

"Folks, today we have another spectical at hand. Team Shadow Raven will be facing....Team Cretaceous. This shall be an interesting match so be sure to keep a close eye on the competitiors. Good luck warriors," the announcer stated on the telecast.

 

A judge capsule crashed into the ground, creating a large explosion and a large crator.

 

"The area within a 4 mile radius is a designated Zoid battlefield. This battle is between Team Shadow Raven and Team Cretaceous. All others must leave the battle field at once. Battle Mode 0982. Area Scanned....Battle field set up....Ready...Fight," the judge stated.

 

The Televisions in almost every shop stayed on, to view this matchup. Biddings were being made on each team.

 

The battle would take place in a large open field with a few boulders every thousand yards.

"Taiga we have a match get to my location immediately!" said Kai over the com, "Yeah Kai, be right there..." she told him. "Okay judge I have a question can you make the battlefield wider?" asked Kai, "That is of course if our opponents dont mind afterall this is a small battlefield in my opinion, could you enlarge the field to atleast an 8 mile radius?" he questioned the judge because him and his Liger liked to have space to move around afterall what good is good mobility if you have no room to use it.

After she got her brother's call that they had a match she headed straight for his location.

"Hey Judge if your going to ignore me on that one fine it doesnt matter much but 0982 is a battle between an equal number of zoids am I correct, if so then I guess as it stands it is 1-on-1 unless you give my teammates some time to arrive well atleast one of my teammates time to arrive..." Kai questioned, "Alright begin CAS for Assualt...Liger Infinity secured on the maintenance deck...begin CAS..." the metal arms came out and took off the standard black armor that was on the Liger then put on the white Assualt armor and weapons when they were finished they went in their storage compartments, "Liger Infinity Assualt complete...Launching Liger Infinity Assualt!" at that the Liger with Kai in it launched out onto the battlefield but dropped like a stone and even the ground gave way underneath it, "Let's get'em Liger buddy!" said Kai to that Liger roared.

Berserk Fury roared as it arrived on the battlefield. "sounds like Berserk is very excited.....I'm a bit nervous myself, I really hope Berserk can have his fun though...do what you can Fury!" she looks towards the other side of the field and waits for the other team while activating the communicators for Kai and Taiga, "Kai-kun! Taiga-Chan!, how are you two feeling! I'm sorry I was out all night and I missed dinner......but I'm here now!" you could hear the excitement in her voice, for the battle. Though she was only happy for Berserk Fury, She herself was scared out of her mind.

"I am good and thank goodness you are here our opponents here are tough so prepare to use that CPC of yours and its also why I am starting out with the Assault unit and Taiga isnt here yet, so we are probably in this alone and wont be having any help in this one because our opponents dont seen to have any weaknesses and our best advantage against them would be the Lightning unit, but because of this small battlefield I cant use it well..." said Kai more relaxed then before.

Vance sat down and turned on the TV in the hovercargo and got ready to watch the match. "Time to check out the competition," Vance said to himself. Vance was going to make sure that he knew EVERYTHING about how the two teams fight and their strategies. Then, his thoughts suddenly turned to his severely damaged buster tortoise. "Man, that thing won't be repaired for a while. It's a good thing I've always had a back-up." Vance smiled at the thought, knowing that his next battle would be a most interesting one.

"Hey Vance. Good job on the field today." Nick said. He noticed the Tv and sat down. "What u watchin'"

Vance smilled,"Just getting some in site on our opponents." Nick nodded. It was a good idea to get some in site. They had nearly lost their last battle because of lack of information. They had to be more prepared for their next fight.

 

"JOEY, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS." noticing the beserk Fury on the field. They had better prepare, their next fight was going to be a mess.

joey walked up from the lower decks of the hover cargo. he ignored nicks comments and headed off to the control room. he sat down behind the hover cargos controls and smiled.

"this is my kind of transportation." he switched the control to manual and turn them to a city towords the north. he pressed the intercom botton. "nick vence we're heading north thats where our targets supposed to be. make sure your zoids are fixed up you have two to 4 hours k so make sure your ready."
