While this card is face-up on the field, if your opponent declares an attack on another

monster you control, you can change the target to this card. If this card is attacked by a

monster, you can activate the following effects during the Damage Step: damage calculations

are not applied and this card will not be destroyed as a result of battle; if you activated this

effect, reduce your Life Points by 1000 and place 1 Containment Counter on this card (max. 5).

This card gains 1000 ATK points for every Containment Counter on it. This card cannot attack

unless it has 1 or more Containment Counters on it, if this card does attack; you must

remove 1 Containment Counter from this card.

 

OCG FIXES are appreciated, kind of has a hard time wording it. If you got better, I'm open to suggestions.

 

This card will take time to power up, but he is great protection for your other monsters by far.

 

Although a Level 1 monster, it has the potential effect to reach 5000 ATK.

This card + Battle Mania + Opti-Camouflage Armor = potential OTK.

Anyway, I think the card is awesome. Pretty cool pic and a very creative effect.

9,5/10 because it's a little overpowered.

 

(If you combine this with Opti-Camouflage Armor you get a pretty powerful monster that can attack directly)

This is true, but it cannot attack at all unil it gains at least 1 Containment Counter on it first. So your suggestive ccombo would be a little tricky to use but fun to try out.

Yeah, you are right, an experienced player would probably just avoid attacking, so you can't add a Containment Counter on it. I didn't notice it is really hard to get this card to be with 5000 ATK and to be able to ATK directly (althrough even with 1000 ATK this card equipped with OCA will be reasonable combo).

I use my own templates i made to make the card look more like the real thing, borders, aligned lore, 1st Edition, etc.

SCENARIO

 

You have a Judgment Dragon on the field, but your opponent summoned Obelisk the Torment onto the field, he uses Obelisk to attack your JD, but you activate Negate Attakc, to keep your JD alive. But unless you do something on your next turn, your JD is facing eminent destructions from your opponent's Obelisk on his next Battle Phase. What do your do to protect your JD, you Summon this card on your next turn. Your opponent laughs at you, yes laughs at you?

 

- You end your turn.

- Your opponent decides to attack your JD and destroy it this time.

- But you activate this card's effect and the attack target is changed to this card.

- YOU CAN let the Obelisk destroy this card, but you would lose 4000 Life Points, and what would be the point of that. so you activate this second ability to reduce Damage Calculations to 0 and not be detroyed.

- Your opponent is freaked out how, your monster survived.

- You lose 1000 Life Point using the 2nd Effect, but get to add 1 Containment Counter to this card.

- This card now has an ATK of 1000.

- You keep using this card's effect to build its Counter up to 5 (basically negating 4 additonal attack from your opponent)

- This card will now have 5 Containent Counters on it, so it will have 5000 ATK points.

- You equip Opti-Camouflage Armor to this card and attack your opponent's Life Points directly.

- This card loses 1 Containment Counter is now has 4 instead of 5, which means it has 4000 ATK points and the ability to still attack directly.

- Your next Battle Phase yopu attack directly causing 4000 Direct Damage with this card.

- You Win. (although it would be hard press for your opponent to keep trying to attack any of your monster after seeing the effect of this card)


One more thing:

 

This card + Battle Mania + Opti-Camouflage Armor = potential OTK.

 

OR at least possibly fully charge this card in a single turn, if your opponent controls 5 monsters.

A nice scenario but you would have to pay 5000 LP to power up your card to be stronger that Tormentor.And it would make more sense to use the JD's effect.

And,since this is Destiny H card,it would make sense to use D related cards.

 

I still think it's OP'ed.Look at Yubel who is very similar to this card.But it is hard to summon,as opposed to your card.It has potential but needs a drawback.

It is a powerful card, but here's the thing, although it has major defensive abilities in regards to battles, it has none towards spells, traps, or monster effects.

 

The Yubel card's actually thrive on its destruction from spells, traps or monster effects, this card is vulnerable to them.

 

Destiny Hero - Absorber

- This card's weakness is destruction from Magic

- This card cost 1000 LPs for its temporary invincibility.

- This card cannot attack unless its requirements are met.

- This card loses Life Points using its effect.

 

Yubel

- Yubel's strength is destruction from Magic

- This card cost nothing for its permanent invincibility.

- This card can attack whenever.

- This card does not lose Life Points using its effect.
